I really hate asking this, but I'm genuinely confused. I used to frequent 4chan when I was a teenager (about 20 years ago jesus christ I am dust) and it was by its own admission a shithole, but /b/ was a great source of memes, so it was easy enough to scroll past the weird shit. I left long before they got trump elected, and have rarely been back since.

tonight (out of curiosity) I checked in on /b/ and it's literally nothing but shitty porn. not even promoting anything, just stuff like "here's my favorite pic of a dude getting a BJ. post your favorite picture of a dude getting a BJ," towards absolutely no end, other than jerking off with other dudes. I saw this a couple years ago and thought it was a fluke, but it seems to be keepin' on.

is this the ultimate ending of the internet, or did something on the site break down?

I've been seeing reports about a major controversy in India involving alleged irregularities in voter lists, demands for the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner, and protesters being detained in Delhi.

From what I've read, the Election Commission of India has been conducting a large-scale voter verification exercise, reportedly resulting in around 130 million names being removed from electoral rolls. The Commission says the revisions are intended to address issues such as duplicate registrations, deaths and people moving away.

However, opposition parties and activists have raised concerns about eligible voters being excluded, and almost every single protestor, opposition and even film actors are now detained?

I've seen a lot of people on Twitter react negatively to the Paramount/Warner Bros. merger, saying that they don't want it to happen. But I don't really understand the hate, since merging a company means we don't really have to pay separately for Paramount+ and HBO Max anymore, so why all the hate?

So I saw this post have have heard other negative things about Jacob Geller recently, but have no clue what's going on. He's a youtuber I've never got super into but has made videos I have enjoys and typically has media takes that I find substantial and of quality (from what I seen at least).

Is he being canceled? Did he do something bad? I am very curious.

The movie Primetime was is about the show To Catch A Predator and while I haven't watched it I have never ever heard someone accuse a film of being "identify theft".

It's not even like they tried to do what he did. To my understanding, the film is just a bio pic and has Robert Pattinson playing him.

Is there any real ground to accuse them of identity theft?

I remember seeing this episode of “Mr. Iglesias” when it came out. Probably years late to the game, but what is that hand gesture called that Fluffy does, along with the rest of the students? All it says is “Excitement Hands” in the title and a brief Google Search. Was this a thing? Can you guys share some examples of this, and/or other names the gesture goes by? Thanks.
