I've been browsing the second-hand market for a couple of weeks and found this car that seems like a great fit for me. Where I live, it’s even had a recent price drop.

I wanted to ask about the reliability of the 1.2 Turbo engine (PureTech). I’ve heard some concerns about the wet timing belt potentially causing issues around 80,000 km. Does anyone have real-world experience with this engine in the Astra / 308 / DS4 etc.?

How bad is it really, and is it something to avoid on a 2024 model with lower mileage?
