Hull City boss goes public on Zan Vipotnik transfer bid after making move
Hull City boss Sergej Jakirovic says he's not sure the club will return with an improved bid for Swansea City striker Zan Vipotnik.
The Swans batted away an offer from the Tigers earlier this week, which WalesOnline understands was in excess of £10m.
For now, Swansea appear to be holding firm on their valuation of the 24-year-old, which is currently believed to be around £20m.
Vipotnik was the top scorer in the Championship last season, netting 25 goals for the Swans in all competitions. He also scored three times for his country.
The Slovenian's exploits have predictably attracted a fair amount of attention in this transfer window.
West Ham United have been monitoring the situation since January, while Portuguese giants Benfica have previously held initial discussions.

Swansea City transfer news as ex-Liverpool teen signs and star set to miss chunk of season
Staitham Bowen says it was an 'easy decision' to join Swansea City.
The 18-year-old is set to link up with the under-21s squad, having signed a two-year deal with the club.
The centre-back was most recently on the books at Premier League side Brentford, and joins on a free transfer after a successful trial earlier this year.
"I'm very happy to be here, the coaches are amazing and the boys are a top group, so I'm looking forward to getting down to work this year," said Bowen, who also enjoyed a brief stint in the youth set-up at Liverpool.

About Caerphilly
Caerphilly is a historic Welsh town best known for its massive medieval castle and its traditional crumbly white cheese. It sits at the southern end of the Rhymney Valley, about 7 miles north of Cardiff, and is the largest town in Caerphilly County Borough.
Caerphilly Castle dominates the town’s identity, built between 1268 and 1271 by Gilbert de Clare, it’s the largest castle in Wales and second only to Windsor in the UK.
Its huge concentric walls, lakes, and famously leaning tower make it one of Britain’s most dramatic fortresses.
