Glorifying "the grind culture" and "hard work" is not a healthy way to live

People who value hard work and glorify "I bust my ass at work all day while you work part time!" are brainwashed and coping for their shitty life. People who glaze working 10 hours a day with almost no pay are part of the reason why the job market is in this mess.

It worked back in the day because buisnesses actually benefited hard work, but the world is different now. I feel almost no empathy towards people who worked the hardest for a company for 20+ years, then act like the suprised-Pikachu meme when they get laid off.

Most people who preach about "working hard" are generally very stressed out and think everyone else should be miserable because they're miserable. This is not a healthy lifestyle and everyone deserves rest.

The warehouse industry deserves its demise

I quit my last job because my body physically cannot handle working in a warehouse with No A/C, and being in the south Texas heat while making less than a cashier at the Mc Donald's down the street.

Ontop of the usual bullshit, the managers are assholes who heavily value Gen X's "grind culture" and are fine with essentially being a wage slave. The manager at my old job already had three of his best employees quit before me because they never got their paychecks.

I'd rather wash dishes at a Chuck-E-Cheese and deal with screaming children all day than work at a warehouse, while not knowing if I'll be paid by the warehouse manager that month. I'd rather work somewhere I know would be financially stable and pay me on time.

The chinese tech-tree is the definition of "You can copy my homework, but make it look different."

Chinese vehicles are just wish.com versions of everyone else's stuff

I'm done being nice to people

I won't be an asshole about it and still have basic common courtesy, but My new viewpoint means that I won't trip over myself for strangers.

Everyone is fucking evil nowadays, and being nice to others has actually made my life worse sometimes. What is the point of being nice to others if everyone else doesn't play their part in society.

the other day, I literally told a person who was being a pain in the ass: "fuck you, leave me alone!" to their face and I'd happily do it again with no regrets. I'd still be nice to people who show kindness first, but I won't bend over backwards for someone I barely know.

Boomers are more entitled than Gen Z

Male: 25

Everytime a boomer tries proving us wrong in the comments, they unintentionally prove our point. Gen Z is mean towards other generations because literally the entire planet was groomed to hate us by Boomer CEOS and politicians.

In general, I tend to get along better with people who are closer to my age (19-30) than old people. I try being nice to Boomers, but it's a losing battle. There is a small minority of Boomers who are genuinely good people, but they're becoming rare.

Boomers view kindness as weakness because being mean was normal for the time period they grew up in. Boomers would tell us they aren't the enemy and we should blame the global elite, but take a wild guess which generation holds all the wealth and power.

I worked at two restaurants and three stores so far, and Boomers were the worst type of customer. Nothing beats the entitlement of a group of them sitting down on the outdoor patio at a family restaurant.

When something is trending among younger people, Boomers are the first generation who want to pressure Congress into regulating the hell out whatever is trending despite no one being harmed.

There are assholes in Gen Z too, but we still keep it toned down to some extent and have self control, unlike Boomers.
