Should I continue taking care of it or just get rid of?

Should I continue taking care of it or just get rid of?

2017 Subaru Manual Crosstrek .

It has a rebuild title, weird engine sounds, I actually found part of the problem - gasket seal on one side + rattle on start from I think bad heat shield mount + it has a ticking noise like a knock but not really.

Anyway, front bumper all scratched up, back bumper same, hood needs to be repainted because from small chips it’s in rusty dots now.

+ fenders and bumpers need to be aligned

Back light has a bracket broken.

How much all these repairs can even cost? I know I can get it into a good shape, but is it worth it?

“Syrniki” - 90% they will melt on your pan, this time I won

Eastern European secret protein weapon - all made from farmers cheese, omg so good…

I used 2.5 lb of farmers cheese to make 10 of these

Tried both oils so you don’t have to. Chosen Avocado Spray vs Graza high heat

Chosen is much better no smoke when sprayed on a hot pan

+ Graza oil spray makes smoke and smells like plastic - don’t buy it!!!!

2017 Subaru Crosstrek - Manual

So first sound that I don’t understand is knocking.

Second sound is fussing at the top of the revving.
Third sound - trembling at the beginning of rev.

Third - the car almost shuts down when food off pedal - it happens when it reaches below 1k rpm - I feel like the car becomes weak and then comes back to life.

I feel like in the first gear car needs more gas than it supposed to ask to go forward but then other gears everything is okay.

I floored it in the 3rd and it didn’t go anywhere - just slowly increasing spread.

Battery is attached but not fully bolted. New oil change.

No codes. Please help because I am going crazy ;(

Just bought this Crosstrek in a sad condition.

I want to give it some love, take care of it.

It’s a manual too..

It has this sound that I can’t understand. I replaced the oil, engine became quitter but sound still persists :(

When I rev it, sound disappears, engine seems nicely working, there was no glitter in old oil. Just lots of dirt.

My current thoughts: pulley maybe? Something is slapping I can hear it while inside the car with closed windows

Does anyone know?

Hi everyone!

I recently replaced a front CV axle on my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek (Manual).

Assembled everything, put a new axle, wheels on. Took it on a test drive (small speed) - everything seems normal.

I noticed this gap between transmission and inner joint of the axle.

Do you know if this is normal?

Please let me know! Thanks.

Hi Everyone!

Just did my first ever oil change. It wasn’t without surprises because the oil drain plug was stuck and it took me 2 days to unbolt it..

Anyway.. I just got this 17’ Crosstrek (Manual) - it is in a rough shape and I don’t think previous owners cared too much about it.

Can you help me understand the state of the oil that came out of it? I checked well with flash.. there was no glitter.

What do you think?

++ help me find a spray paint brand that would fit my Subaru, color Hyper Blue!
