So I’m replaying the Pokémon games I skipped out on as a kid since I modded my 3DS. Im not playing fully vanilla, setting up shiny cheats and giving myself one legendary/myrhical per game.

I’m currently starting my Pokémon Diamond save where I plan to make a living dex and I wanted to give myself jirachi — but everytime I use the cheat and try to talk to the guy in the Poké mart the game gets stuck at
“We look forward to your next visit”. I can’t press anything to advance the text nor anything on the second screen.

Can anyone tell me why this is? Am I missing some sort of flag in the code that’s messing with the game? Is it because I’m still early on?

Any help is appreciated, really !!
