Is it my imagination but is Marblehead absolutely gorgeous but one of the most boring and miserable places to live as a transplant? The food is terrible, alcohol seems to be a pastime. It seems ok if you have children but otherwise, people drone on and on about generations, ancestral history…very little live music. I guess I can describe it as a beautiful but soulless town.

It is safe and has good health care. I’ve lived all over the US and outside the country. I have enough money to live here, a beautiful house but geez…

Am I crazy? Maybe it’s a bad place for transplants without children.
