Termites or ants? Northeastern Maryland

I understand these photos aren’t the best, I tried to get close ups as clear as possible but these things are really tiny. Found a bunch of dead ones on our propane fire pit that’s on our deck, all laying upside down. Saw a few dead ones on deck railing. Looks like they all have 4 wings and they are pretty translucent

23 month old suddenly struggling at nap time

Hi all. My 23 month old has stopped napping at home about a week ago. I hadn’t changed anything with his routine, and sleep trained him for naps at around 5 months old and he since then was always able to put himself to sleep at nap time until now. He fights and fights and fights me when I try to put him in his crib for naps. He’s been napping at daycare fine, and the few days last week at home that he refused nap he was able to make it to bedtime without much of an issue (bed time is still going fine, for now 🤞🏻). I feel like this is just a phase and will pass, as he’s always been a high sleep needs kid, so I’m still trying to continue offering naps. Today, however, he started to seem tired about a half hour past his normal nap time, so I again tried to coax him to his crib and it was an absolute meltdown but I could tell he was exhausted and wanted to sleep. He finally fell asleep on my lap on the couch and I left him there to sleep (still in the room to monitor him of course) but now of course I’m freaking out that falling asleep on me is now going to be the expectation, and he’s going to forever refuse the crib and want contact naps. Should I start over with sleep training him again? Or do you think I should just do whatever works for now until this phase hopefully passes?
