Is it more efficient to unlock all Jokers randomly for 250 Souls, or should I just save up and buy the specific ones I want directly in the shop?

Also, when unlocking randomly:

• Is it possible to get duplicates?
• If yes, do duplicates get refunded at 100% of their price?
