Should the surface be like a smooth polished mirror finish?

Please recommend any cool coffee shops in Parksville. Any cool unique trendy options?

Are there special exterior paints just for brick? I have a large outside wall needing painted. My plan was to power wash. Then use a paint sprayer. I’m just worried about using the wrong paint and it pealing off some time afterwards.

What’s a good ground cover plant that’s nice and short-low maintenance? Would like an alternative to mulching or stone. It would be a mix of direct sunlight and some shaded areas.

I have a small kitchen and dining room on a slab floor. There is a crack running through it that I now see after I removed the vinyl flooring. I’ve since sealed the crack. I really wanted ceramic tile flooring because the area has flooded in the past from a nearby drain in the house. It wasn’t bad to clean up because it was vinyl but if it was lvp i’m sure it would have been a disaster because water would have gotten under it. My heart was set on tiling but now this crack has got me thinking that the tile might break if that crack moves. The house is 50 years old or more so I’m sure it’s done settling. Is tile a risk?
