After my friend got screwed on a 1 BR lease, I mapped out what Fremont actually pays in rent
A friend signed a 1BR thinking he landed a good deal. Then his neighbor mentioned they signed the same unit, same layout, for a few hundred less plus a free month. He only found out because they happened to talk.
It got us thinking why there's no way to just see what people around you are actually paying. Not the asking price. What they signed for, what concessions they got, what utilities are bundled, what the building is actually like to live in. Why don't tenants have tools that help them decide better?
So I built it. Free and anonymous. Drop a pin with what you pay and see how you compare. See what concessions others got, when they moved in, how rent changed over time. See what people are saying about the place before you move in. Or get continuous updates as more pins arrive in the area to get a better read on renewal/move in prices.

P.S: Launched in SF recently and people kept adding in Freemont anyway
