Fair Warning - Cops Will Cite Swimmers in Alameda Creek This Weekend

> The Niles Creek and surrounding lands are off limits and trespassing into the creek area can be punishable by arrest per California Penal Code 602(O)(1). The Fremont Police Department is working in conjunction with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, Alameda County, and Cal-Trans, to enforce trespassing laws in the Niles Creek and surrounding lands. Violators will be cited and/or arrested. Additionally, vehicles found to be illegally parked will be cited and/or towed.
