Dry Ice purchasing

Does anyone know of a place that I can purchase dry ice? I’m looking at getting no more than 10lbs for an event.

Google search didn’t really help, thus I’m asking here for anyone with first-hand knowledge/experience

Fremont high schools

Hi everyone! 😊
My daughter will be a sophomore in high school, and our family is considering relocating from New Jersey to the Bay Area within the next year. One of the schools we’re seriously considering is American/Irvington/ Washington so we’d love to hear from current students and parents.
What’s the school culture like? How are the academics, clubs, sports, teachers, and overall student experience? Is it a welcoming place for new students transferring from out of state?
My daughter is understandably a little nervous about making new friends, so if there are any sophomore girls who would be open to chatting with her, answering a few questions, or even becoming friends before we move, we’d be incredibly grateful. Feel free to comment below or send me a private message.
Thank you so much! We truly appreciate any advice or insights you can share. 💙how diverse are these schools?

PSA for all dog owners

Sadly, dogs are still being walked in unsafe temperatures. Please keep this mind for your dogs safety and health.

Manteca / tracy to Fremont “bloom energy “

Does anyone work at bloom energy in Fremont CA? I just got a job and I start Thursday. I was wondering if there’s a shuttle or carpool from Manteca/Tracy area?

Warm Springs Best place to live at

Hi I’m a warm springs resident and I have to say this is the best and safest place in Fremont I have been living at my address for around 10 years in the neighborhood no robbery no porch privates amazing neighbors park nearby right off 880 and 680 the only thing bad is that middle school and high school are far away but if i don’t care about that then it’s the best!

My son’s plate was intentionally stolen in front of our near Park Meadow Ct.

I am writing to report a theft that occurred recently in front of our house in Fremont, near the intersection of Park Meadow and

An individual riding a scooter and wearing a hoodie intentionally stole my son’s plate right in front of our residence.

You will not get away with it because your conscience will bother you.

Is Secret sidewalk locked down now?

Just pulled up to check it out and saw people getting arrested at the gate, seems like all videos/photos are from 2+ years ago. Anyone been there recently/have a different way to see it?

So much for the Fireworks ban

Sounds like B-52s over Dresden tonight.

My backyard neighbors doing bottle rockets and other fireworks and one flew into my property.

I should I be the Karen and tell them to stop or call the police? Probably won't but entire city seems to be ignoring the fireworks ban.

I don't know how the police could even enforce anything since it's so widespread.

Keep your dogs safe tonight people!

SLOW TRAFFIC STAY RIGHT.

To respond to agression:

I drive hella slow on a daily basis and stay in the right lane. I am not an agressive driver, this was just the one time I needed to get somewhere fast because I had a pet bleeding out. I'm genuinely not entitled whatsoever. I just wanted to draw attention to road cortesy and respect as someone who is always respectful on the road. Please remember, you don't know what someone may have going on and why they're trying to get somewhere so fast. That doesn't make them a bad driver or an agressive person. Who knows, their child could be in the back seat near death on the way to the hospital.

PLEASE stay in the right lane if you're going to drive slow.

Happy 4th everyone. Stay safe

Movies at pacific commons

I don’t mean to offend anyone, and I’m speaking only about a situation I’m experiencing right now. My friends and I are watching the new Minions movie, and a family sitting nearby has a very strong body odor that’s making it difficult to enjoy the movie and is even giving me a headache. I know it wouldn’t be fair to judge an entire group of people based on one experience, but I’m feeling frustrated by the situation. Again, I apologize if this comes across as insensitive—I’m just trying to explain what’s happening.

All Fireworks Banned

All fireworks are banned in Fremont including the “safe and sane” variety per Fremont police. Yet every store within Fremont is selling them. Just an observation.

Trying to relocate from the Central Valley

I just started a job in Palo Alto and I’ve been commuting from Modesto to Palo Alto for the last three weeks and it’s not cutting it -lol.

I’m looking for a reasonable yet safe place to live because I have a kid that will be starting junior high/middle school in the fall.

What are some of the best areas that are safe, kid AND pet friendly that will cut my commute down from almost three hours each way every day?

I’m looking for some suggestions so - far I have looked in Fremont, Newark & Union City, but I’m open to any areas of the Bay Area. I moved to Modesto from the east coast during covid, so I really don’t know the areas.

I’m a single parent so I’d like to keep the rental budget for a 2bd below $3k which I know isn’t realistic but I’m optimistic.

Thanks!
