Why my light doesn't move when I play the animation?

I saw an awesome tutorial to animate caustics, but it runs like shit on my potato laptop. So I tried imagining a more budget way of doing it. For it, I got a caustic-like texture, but made the light parts transparent, and the light passes through it (in blend mode and alpha clip shadow mode) and casts the caustic shapes on the objects. And then when I move the texture, the lights change. As you can see, the texture moves correctly, however the lights on the object don't change at all when I try playing the animation. They change if I manually switch the frames though.

This error happened on blender 3.6 EEVEEE. This thing works on blender 5.0, but I prefer the older version due to some plugins, EEVEE post 4.2 sucking and most of my on-going projects already being on it. Cycles is very laggy and slow on my computer, it's not viable.

Many, if not most, HI3 fans are annoying af, but Fate fans are even worse and somehow they are treated differently. They are everything this community pretends HI3 fans are.

EDIT FOT THE PEOPLE WHO CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT: I'm not complaining about the in-game Fate references, I'm talking about the FANDOM posts.

3 or 9 leaflets?

Unfortunately I don't know this tree's species or even if it's native or exotic to where I live, and I don't want a plant ID. But I came across this tree and I can't even understand how many leaflets it has. I've learned about compound leaves in uni, but none of them looked like this. 1st pic is a drawing so you can see better what it looks like (though the side triads are closer to the "petiole"), second pic is a real photo of it.

At first I thought it had 3 leaflets, but if that were the case, I assume there would be small branches with many of them growing from it, and only 3 leaflets each. But everything attached to the branch only looks like this, and it doesn't branch further. So I thought it was maybe an unipinate imparipinate, but I think those only grow across 1 "plane". So the leaflets on the side would only grow towards the sides, not up.

How would you change her writing in Penacony?

While I think it was decent enough, it did feel a bit incomplete. Even though it's obvious she will come back later, there were still things they could have shown in Penacony, especially after all that build up from her trailers. It doesn't help that she had little screentime in her own patch. If it wasn't possible to add it in the main story (and it was), it could at least have been a companion mission.

First of all, I wish the story had spent more time teasing her as suspicious instead of quickly stabilishing her as being on our side, and that we saw more examples of her struggling with her memory loss. It pretty much only comes up during "lost" jokes, even thought it has so much potential.

The whole reason for Acheron to come to Penacony was a bit underwhelming too. I like that it explains her habit of fulfilling dead people's wishes (and especially even if it's "meaningless"), but imo it could also have been because Penacony is on the verge of Nihility. I think she mentions something like that once, but it didn't seem very important to her cause, the galaxy ranger bullet was the main factor by far. And on that note, would Acheron using her powers risk attracting IX's shadow to the planet? Gopher Wood seems very worried about her, even though she seems to avoid using it because it causes too much destruction and might send people to the shadow realm. But it was never mentioned that it might make a planet end up like Izumo.

I'd also replace the Welt scene for something more interesting and relevant. Nothing against him, but that scene was literally useless. It was just fanservice for HI3 players, and as someone who went through all of part 1, it was still boring af. Aventurine and Ratio had already been to Sunday's place to investigate, they could have been the ones who found the Robin letters or whatever, there wasn't any need for more people to go in there too. I suppose the biggest goal of the scene is convincing the AE and the players that Acheron can be trusted, and maybe give her a reason to tag along and help us against Aventurine, but surely there are better ways of doing that that could include more character development. You can even keep Welt, just give them a cooler mission. Sadly the best way of implementing the flashbacks would be via memory reading, but Acheron is the one character where that doesn't really work, at least not without harming memokeepers.

And finally, the goddamn escape scene. The game teased it at least twice and didn't even give us a single sneak peek of it, that was diabolical. Gopher Wood kicked Acheron out of Penacony, and likely sent minions to chase after her or something. All we know if that Black Swan helped (likely by memory wiping everyone in their way), that the process was far from "unnoticed" and brought her to the AE train. But even in 2.3 there's a dialogue option where we ask Sparkle about this action scene being completely offscreen. They had the opportunity to fix it in 3.8, but lmao.

How fake Amphoreus dislikers look when real haters come at them

"Amphoreus was terrible except for 3.4 and Phainon" wrong, 3.4 was the worst case of companion mission on main and "if you don't care about the banner character, you won't like this patch".

Phainon is almost copypaste from Kevin, both in personality and role in story. His regular self is pre-MANTIS Kevin, but with a grudge, and Khaslana is the deadbeat Kevin. Both of them kill innocent people for the greater good while waiting for another person to show up and save the day, after making a plan with a pink haired elf.

People only criticize Cyrene for this, which she deserves, but it's all pointless if you absolve the character who does it even worse, and while also plagiarizing Elysia and Kiana. And it's also hypocrisy because his fans say he should have had even **more** screentime, and they would be clapping like seals if Phainon did whatever Cyrene and TB did, despite pretending they think it's bad writing. I hate Cyrene and the Failblazer too, so don't even try that gotcha on me.

This post is already too big for this sub, but I'd like to add that his trailer is overrated, it's just a generic shounen AMV made for 13 years old boys.

You hate Amphoreus because it didn't focus on Phainon 24/7, I hate it because it's ass. We are not the same.
