Need advice … gave my BMW Display Key (520i 2019 executive package) to valet and got it back with the BMW logo/lock button broken/pushed in. I checked repair options and apparently BMW doesn’t sell just the button piece, they want the whole original key housing/shell replaced which is 250+ AED, and a completely new display key is over 2k AED. Pretty annoyed because it was working before handing it over. Has anyone dealt with this before? Is the shell replacement the only proper fix or are there any repair options? Also would you push the valet company to cover it?

P.S: I only noticed when I got home when i tried lock the car after getting out.

Yall dont know how badly i needed this week and have around 15 tests next week and a few this week, i might actually be able to study for everything 🥹 actually i hope everything gets cancelled and school stays online till the end im lowk tired studying aint for me or maybe i should study.

genuinely cant study everything in time and it was so unexpected they told us so late…
