Is a too big Enclosure bad??

So I'm planning on buying a L2 3 Giant indian Mantis got a nice Deli Cup planned with a mesh lid and cross ventilation. But as a Main Enclosure I have a 33x43x35 Diy Box planned with 35 cm being the height. I researched and saw that the mantis would only be able to live in the Cup up until l5. So I thought I would be able to move it to the big box but I guess according to some people it's not good for the mantis, what do y'all think, would the box be appropriate for when he outgrows the Cup.

Returning To The Hobby

So i recently got back in the Jumping spider hobby and need advice since I found a wild male Adasons at least I think. He's already fully grown I believe and want to get him an Enclosure. He is pretty small so I don't know what a good size for the Enclosure would be I know the basics but I just need Enclosure advice like how big should it be and other tips if you wouldn't mind I found some Acrylic ones on Amazon one of them has holes 1,5mm for ventilation which I feel like is too big for the spider
