Just had my new truck ceramic coated and love the way it looks. My hope is to keep it this way as long as I can. I couldn’t afford the ppf unfortunately. Is there any good info/videos out there on how to properly wash and dry a car to avoid getting swirls? Is there any more to it than using freshly washed microfiber towels each time? Thanks
Just got our new truck last week and had it ceramic coated today. We wanted to ppf the front but it was just out of our budget. The ceramic should help protect the clear coat while sitting outside in the Texas sun. It definitely looks much shinier in person after the coating. It was tough to find a good deal on this color so we want to keep it looking good as long as we can. We love the ride so far!
On my second build of Minas Tirith. I enjoy building far more than displaying so I’m on my second build right now. I also like to pick up on new build techniques. Anyone else build their sets a few times?
Just finished up adding the rock and some other details to my Barad-dur MOC. I tried to stick with the theme of the original Lego tower. Used mostly just the parts available in the original set. I still need to complete the internal levels. Ended up 3ft wide at the base and 6.5ft tall. It is entirely modular. Open to suggestions of what some of the different levels should be filled with.
Just finished up the adding all of the rock and external elements. It remained modular with some of the rock detaching from the main structure so I can hopefully take it to meet ups once it’s done. I like the lava flow and some of the upside down rock. Had to use some technic from the set. Looks skinnier in the photos than it is. Ended up being 3ft wide at the base.
