Has anyone used SSD5 successfully in Logic 11.2? I can't get mine to load.
Software instrument, changed the Epiano to drumkit, went to mixer channel strip, ssd5 dropdown but will not open for me. Trying to replace some live drums that were done (or at least the kick and snare) and the options look fantastic. What am I doing wrong?

I was pretty almost ready to master a song, when I realized the problem may be the live drums. They were done by someone else. I managed to move the WAV forms and carefully doctor them in position by hand. When EQ'ing and Compressing, I realized they sound "noisy" and the reason is the WAV forms are small, hence, the signal was too low when recording. The kick is ok, but may want to find one with more punch. The snare must go. The BRUSHES are the problem: is that considered snare? and how do I replicate a brush (maybe from the logic 11.2 drum jazz player?" I would just use a session player, but I want it to follow the beat I have on the counts I want. GRRR. Suggestions? Pattern region and then see if I can make just ONE brush sound from the Session player? and then find a better kick and snare?
