New grad advice

Hi for some context I am graduating in may 2027(a year late 😭) I have co-op experience with GAF and an internship this summer with Amazon( some bs management role called area manager). I would like to get my masters in the future in aerospace cuz I think it’s pretty cool. I was wondering what I should do. A lot of people Always say get a job first to see what you really like, which makes sense but I wanna get one in the aerospace field. But that isn’t looking so good with this job market and I will probably end up in hvac or something like that. I passed my FE mechanical tho. Idk what do you guys think.

So I start next week as an intern working night shift from Wed-Sat, which is just amazing, can't wait. I am a mechanical engineering major with previous co-op experience. I am just not excited for this experience at all. First its not anything dealing with my major, and it's night shift. Why would they do this to an intern lol. Is there any redeeming thing to look forward to, because from what I have read so far, it isn't looking good. Is there any way to get hired as a mechanical engineer or something related internally, or are you just stuck?
