Looking for a new gym

Hi everyone! I just moved to Salmon Creek from Keizer, OR and I am looking to join a new gym. Right now I’m going to Lake Shore athletic club but I’m not really liking the vibe. I’m looking for a gym with a pool to do laps and a good lifting section. I looked online but that’s how I ended up where I go now.

Anyhow any gyms that people like where you can get a good workout in and it’s not too overcrowded and near salmon creek? Also how do I meet people lol would love to join a group or something, lgbt is fine since it’s me and my partner but doesn’t have to be. Thanks anyone who answers!

40 mg Strattera + 100 mg Zoloft: anxiety better, but weird side effects and no motivation. Anyone else?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently taking 40 mg Strattera (atomoxetine) and 100 mg Zoloft (sertraline). I’ve been on Strattera for around 6–8 weeks and recently increased Zoloft to 100 mg.
There have definitely been some positives:
Anxiety is much lower.
I don’t replay conversations in my head as much.
I’m more social and talking to people feels easier.
I’m less angry and more emotionally even.
My thoughts come out more clearly and I communicate better.
But I’m also dealing with some things that I’m not sure are normal:
Motivation/executive function
I feel physically and mentally exhausted.
I have trouble getting myself to do things.
I don’t feel depressed exactly, but I don’t really “care” about things as much.
Motivation is still poor despite being on Strattera.
Attention
I can barely watch TV anymore. I lose interest after 5–10 minutes.
My mind feels elsewhere and I can’t really get absorbed in shows like I used to.
Focus still isn’t where I expected it to be.
Strange sensations
I’ve had a rocking/bouncing sensation, almost like I’m moving when I’m standing or lying down.
Closing my eyes seems to help.
Sometimes I feel slightly dizzy or off balance.
I notice caffeine affects me way more now.
Other side effects
Occasional nausea (improved after taking Zoloft in the morning and Strattera at night).
Emotional blunting/“I care, but not as intensely.”
Sexual side effects from Zoloft (difficulty reaching orgasm).
Cold feet/hands at times.
General fatigue.
I also recently quit weed after using it daily for a long time, so I realize some of this could be withdrawal mixed with medication adjustments.
Questions:
Has anyone experienced the “can’t get into TV anymore” feeling on Strattera or Zoloft?
Did your motivation and focus improve with more time, or did you need a dose adjustment?
Has anyone had the rocking/moving sensation or dizziness?
Did the emotional blunting improve after your brain adjusted?
I’m working with my doctor and not looking for medical advice, just curious whether others have gone through something similar.
Thanks!

My partner (32M) drinking on work trips is making me (33M) emotionally check out after 10+ years together

My partner and I have been together over 10 years and just bought our first house together. Right after closing, he went on a work trip and got extremely drunk multiple nights, barely communicated with me, and called me obviously intoxicated.

The problem is this isn’t new. I’ve brought up concerns about his drinking and how it affects me before, especially because my mom was an alcoholic and died when I was young. This whole situation has been really triggering for me emotionally.

What’s different this time is I’m not fighting or yelling anymore. I’ve mostly just gone quiet and emotionally detached. He keeps asking what’s wrong, but I feel exhausted explaining the same hurt over and over just for the behavior to repeat later.

Now instead of feeling excited about our new house, I feel trapped and unsure about the relationship. I think he’s confused because I’m not reacting the way I normally would, but honestly I feel like I’m starting to emotionally check out.

Has anyone else experienced this point in a relationship? Did things recover after that?
