I just bought my new cologne for my new job- Jo Malone Hinoki & Cedarwood, and I was wondering when is the right time to apply the fragrance.
I want to smell good but not suffocate the room. So should I apply it right after the shower (~1 hour before I clock in)? Right before I leave for work (~30 mins before I clock in)? Or another time? I’m new to the fragrance world and any help would be appreciated!
I started my new job on the first of this month so I have been through two pay cycles now. This job is 50k a year so that means my gross income per month would be $4,167.
Well, looking at my second paycheck today and it was the same as my first one: 1k gross. So basically I’ve only been paid less than half of my income for the month. I’m going to see what happens on the next pay day and just hope that this is not a recurring problem, but what should I do about this and isn’t this illegal?
I posted a question in a different sub and it got a lot of attention. All the comments are absolutely destroying me and calling me weird for noticing a specific thing that people around me do.
When I was writing the post I didn’t even think anything of it because it’s so normal to me to have so much anxiety that situational awareness is very extreme. My mind has been racing all day because of the comments and now I’m even more aware that I feel so alone in my social and general anxiety.
Anyone else have insane situational awareness due to social anxiety?
I started a new job this month, and I’ve noticed how little my coworkers drink water. While I bring my 40oz water bottle and drink 3-3.5 of them throughout the day, my coworkers come strolling in with energy drinks, Starbucks, or other fast food coffee drinks; NO WATER BOTTLE IN SIGHT.
I have never seen any of them (it’s a small team of 12 people) except for one, drink a single sip of water since I’ve worked here.
Do your coworkers not drink water like mine?
