First Time Interviewing Nerves!

Hey guys! I have an interview coming up with KYCO over zoom, and as this is my first interview so far, I was just wondering if anyone has any tips they think might help, or things I should or shouldn’t mention!

Just Saw Spider-Man: Brand New Day In 4DX! Here Are My Quick Thoughts!

I would definitely recommend checking this one out in 4D! The seat movement was hilariously fun, and there are at least 3 different scenes where they go bonkers! The swinging was really cool, and the seats matched the movements of it super well! Almost all the effects were used I believe, especially the wind and water! Even the little flappy things at the bottom of the seats activated at one point! So yeah, highly would suggest watching it in 4D if you have the chance!!! Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to answer them as soon as I can!

When Should I Expect To Hear Back From NOVA

Hey guys!

Just wondering when I should be looking to hear back from NOVA FL. I submitted by application July 1st, and everything is done, except I’m missing one letter of rec. I’m not sure if that’ll affect whether they contact me back, but I was just wondering when I should contact them to follow up on it, or if I should wait a few more weeks? I plan on going in next year August!

Just Saw The Odyssey In 4DX! Here Are My Quick Thoughts!

It was a really cool experience! My Regal was just renovated with 4dx a few weeks ago so I’ve been checking out a lot more 4dx movies. I know people recommend seeing the Odyssey in IMAX but I dont really mind standard, the movie was really good in the regular format either way!

Since the 4Dx is new in my theater, I feel like my experience might be a bit better than others. Almost all the effects were used! Smoke, wind, water (lots of water lol) and air bursts! When ever an arrow was shot, you’d feel the burst of air next to you, when there was fog on the screen, smoke would pour out. The movement for the most part was really good! It worked well with fight scenes, and when sudden movements happened, the seats would move on cue! There’s a certain part of the movie near the end where the seats went absolutely wild, so that was really fun! One thing that was really consistent was the chairs rocking with the boat!

Overall, if you don’t mind not seeing it in IMAX, I’d recommend the experience for the movie! Though it’s not the craziest experience for 4dx, I do feel like for this movie in particular, it really does add to the immersion.

I Never Realized How Many People Took SML Seriously

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy watching SML quite a bit, it’s probably one of my most watched channels for this year so far, and I usually watch it when I’m doing some work on my PC.

So when I joined the subreddit and saw people were rating the episodes and what not, I was a bit surprised. I don’t mean this in a bad way or anything, I just literally never realized that people seemed really invested in the channel to the point where they’re rating episodes like there from an actual tv show. I never really watch SML for the plot, but you know I do enjoy when they reference something from a past video. I saw people discussing how the bloopers are ruining the videos, and yeah I can definitely see why that could be bothersome, but me personally I find them just as entertaining as the actual video, but that might be because I’m just not as invested in a video being a 10/10 masterpiece.

Of course, I understand that, even though SML is definitely not a high budget channel most of the time, and people definitely shouldn’t expect every video to be balls to the walls amazing, it’s still not fair to the fans and consistent viewers to be given videos that clearly have no effort or thought put into them at all.

I’ve seen this said multiple times, and I’ll say it once more, I feel as though altering the amount of posts would definitely go a long way. I know, though probably few and far in between, there are some people who think that the schedule is fine as it is, but the problem is there are, or at least should be multiple stages to making videos like these: Brainstorm, Record, Review/Edit, Post. I think a week would be more than enough time to make a good high quality video, that would satisfy those who are looking for those types of videos. Even going down to 2 videos a week permanently could be a fair balance with a semi-high quality video and a video that takes a little less effort.

Other ideas that may lower complaints, might be like posting polls and letting people vote from a group of video titles, and let them pick whichever sounds more interesting.

Best Way To Get Physics Score Up On OAT?

So I took the OAT, and got a 300 AA and TS. I don’t think that’s terrible, and I’m looking to go into NSU Optometry program next year August. My GPA is a 3.7 and I have been shadowing and working as an optometrist assistant for almost 2 years!

I do think I can do better, and my lowest score was physics (I believe it was a 250 😭) I definitely skimped out on studying physics, so just wanted to ask if the booster practice questions are representative of the OAT or if there’s something else I should try to get my score higher!

Just curious! I’m not sure in general how involved other authors are in their respective journeys on bringing their work to the screen, but I feel like since there’s so much content to go over from the Light Novels, he probably has some say, points, and picks specific things to keep in the anime! For example, I’m surprised it hasn’t been mentioned that >! Aldebaran and Subaru come from the same world. And this was supposed to be referenced again when Subaru is introducing Julius to the gang!< I’m not mad or upset about these things getting left out though! Just genuinely curious about how much of a say he has in it!
