Affordable routine recommendations for my curls?

Hi! I’m looking for affordable routine recommendations for my curls.

I think my hair is around 3B, dense, and maybe medium-to-high porosity, especially on my lighter/dyed ends. My curls form, but my hair still looks/feels kind of dry and frizzy, especially toward the ends.

Current routine:

  • Shampoo/conditioner: I honestly use whatever shampoo and conditioner I have, nothing consistent right now.

  • Styling products: Cantu leave-in conditioner and Cantu curl cream.

  • Application: I usually brush style my hair, then diffuse.

  • Refresh: I spray my hair with water, add a little product, then diffuse again.

  • Sleep protection: I haven’t figured out a good way to protect my hair while sleeping yet.

The Cantu products are okay. My curls form but they don’t stay as soft/defined as I want, and my hair can still look dry/fluffy.

I’m looking for an affordable drugstore routine that is complete but not overly complicated. I’m open to shampoo, conditioner/deep conditioner, leave-in, curl cream, gel/mousse, etc., whatever would help me most but I don’t want a 12-step routine.

I have tried Shea Moisture before and I had a very similar experience to Cantu.

I appreciate any insights!

Hi!

I picked up my first bike (old GT Talera) for commuting and paved trails. It has been such a blast!

I am looking for literally anything other than a lock (name your price and item) as this bike is VERY bare (even the water bottle holder or rear rack aren't there.)

Please DM me!

Thank you.

Edit: I live in UCity but willing to commute.
