Hey,

Just checking if anyone else is experiencing delays with their license arriving lately?

I passed 7th May, applied same day. Was approved same day 7th May.

Got an email saying license be with me 3-5 working days.

Tracker says 5-7 working days so fair enough I’ll use that guideline.

I’m on working day 8… still no sign. Partner passed last month and there’s arrived in 4 business days.

Whenever we renewed permits it was 3-5.

I’m really hoping others have had a delay and it’s not lost in post hahaah

I called twice and both times they said I have to wait until day 10 then get a lost form filled out by Garda etc and reapply …
They did however say that I have an active approved license and to screenshot it from my licenses in RSA if I want to drive in the meantime.

Any any insight or similar experience? Sorry for the rant ahah

Looking to get a first car. I’ve been looking around and what not.

Thinking of a Yaris for reliability. Not looking for anything fancy.

Has anyone had any experience with Apex Motors in Rathregan? They have a few Yaris’ up for the €3k mark which is the sort of budget I’ve given myself for the car itself.

Any other advice is completely welcome also :)
