Healing Information and Brain Washing

I’ve been listening to Brain Saver and it’s really hitting me how much brain washing there is out there in terms of what can help you heal. I go to the grocery store and see magazines on the racks advertising gut-healing protocols or meditation techniques and I’m struck by how much of it makes sense if you don’t know the truth. Without the truth about what’s making us sick and how to heal, you keep telling yourself you’re not doing enough meditation or yoga or you’re not eating enough protein or taking the right supplements and around and around you go.

Listening to the truth in these books protects you from being caught up in that. I see those advertisements and I immediately understand why it’s not the real answer. Anthony says that knowing the information helps our body know how to heal and I wonder if this is one of the ways that happens - we don’t doubt ourselves in the same way. That stuff just passes us by. The truth is like a shield and that stuff just bounces right off, leaving us safely on the path to healing.

My mom was visiting me recently and she is dealing with a lot of health issues - rosacea, colitis, weight gain, depression, thinning skin, etc. It was hard to hear her talking about what’s going on for her in ways that are self-degrading. “That’s just what happens when you age.” “That’s just genetics.” “I guess I’m just that way.” This information is so loving and understanding; it helps us understand that we’re not to blame for our health issues and that is such a relief. We can trust our bodies.

I suspect my mom thinks I’m the one who is brainwashed and I don’t think there’s much I can do to convince her otherwise. When I told her working with doctors made me sicker, she said “that might have just been natural disease progression.“ When I told her that using MM tools has resolved a number of things she said it might just be a coincidence. When I showed her my test results demonstrating that my anemia and protein deficiency have resolved since starting MM protocols, she dismissed the bloodwork as out of date or insufficient to prove that I was better.

I feel blessed to have gotten sick enough that I had no other options when I found MM information because I don’t think I would have tried it under any other circumstances. I was too brainwashed. Now, that darkness and confusion is falling away and I feel a great sense of peace.

Berkey Filter smells like toxic fragrance

I have a stainless steal berkey filter system. I’m going to buy a plastic one the next time I need to get new filters (in about a year.) In the meantime, I’ve been using a ceramic base with the stainless steal top.

Unfortunately, the arsenic and fluoride filters don’t fit into the ceramic base. My stainless steal bottom was at my mom’s (about 800 miles away) so I asked her to send it to me and I just got it in the mail. She packed something else inside the container - a seat cushion that used to belong to my aunt because I have a sacrum injury. It smells like fragrance and was inside the berkey container, so now the bottom part of my berkey is not only stainless steal but it smells like fragrance.

I’ve cleaned the container with bon ami and will place it in the sun the next time the sun comes out but in the meantime, I’m wondering if it’s possible to clean forever chemicals off of stainless steal. I‘ve heard AW say that these chemicals can stay in our walls and on fabric but steal is much less porous. Should I just stick with the ceramic bottom and wait until I get the new plastic system to use the arsenic/fluoride filter?

I only use that water for cooking. I use spring water for drinking.

Are cops taught to repeat themselves until you give up?

I just had a confrontation with a cop where he actually backed down and allowed me to continue doing what I was doing but it took explaining myself 5 or 6 times while he continued to say the same thing.

I’ve noticed other police officers doing this too, both men and women. If you give them a reason that you can’t do what they want, no matter how reasonable it is, they just repeat themselves.

Are they taught that there’s no reason that’s worth listening to? That if they just keep repeating themselves, the other person will eventually give up and do what they want?

If they’re being trained to do this, it’s a real shame. I can imagine it must frequently lead to escalation because it feels dehumanizing.

Edit: (Cops in the US)

Cognitive Symptoms and supplements

I’m taking 5-MTHF, 5-HTP, and celery force. The celery force and 5-HTP made a real difference for me. I just started the 5-MTHF, so the jury is still out.

Are there any other supps that made a difference for your cognitive symptoms?

(I’m also taking Vimergy’s Vit B-12, B-complex, magnesium, zinc, and lemon balm)

Leaking Roof in a Rental - Looking for Advice

Update: My landlord (Todd) brought over a dehumidifier and a large fan. I have the dehumidifier set up in the bathroom, where the worst damage is. The fan is set up at the foot of my bed, pointing at the second worst section.

Todd said that they won’t be able to get up to do anything on the roof in the next month at the soonest. I asked what’s the longest it might take. He said someone can probably make it out before Thanksgiving.

The drywall they won’t fix until after they fix the roof and he said the timing on it will depend on when someone is available and whether or not I want to be here when it’s done.

He’ll leave the dehumidifier and fan with me so I can use them anytime it rains or if it gets really humid. He also said that there is ventilation between my ceiling and the roof, so it should dry out decently. The insulation they used has mold and mildew retardant on it.

There is a urine smell that has come with this water damage that concerns me a bit. I know that there is an animal that lives in the roof, so the urine smell could actually be indicative of urine.

I’m working with Amber Vizzacaro right now and will definitely let her know what happened and see what she thinks but I’m still curious to hear about other people’s experiences. From what I’ve read online, this sort of thing should be dealt with very quickly. I was surprised that Todd wasn’t planning on doing anything about it sooner and let him know that.

One of the challenges is that contractors are incredibly busy in southern Vermont during the summer. The building season is relatively short and because we have a lot of freezing and thawing throughout the winter, there’s always a lot of repair work to be done; it can be hard to get help when you need it.

Hello MM Community.

I am looking for advice and information about my situation. I just discovered some leaks on my ceiling. One is actively dripping. (What luck, that one is over the shower.) The other two are just obviously wet.

Questions:

What are the possible health concerns? Anything other than mold?

What should I expect from my landlord? I don’t have much experience as a renter and I’m not sure what to expect in terms of a timeline for getting this finished. My landlord is generally very good about addressing issues, especially when they could have health ramifications. He knows that I’m sick and he, himself, has RA, so he has some understanding of what I’m going through. He aims to be a top-rate rental company, so I think I can expect him to respond well but I’m just not sure, realistically what that looks like. How long does it take to resolve something like this? Should I find a new place to live until it’s resolved? Should he be responsible for finding me new accommodations?

I’d appreciate any advice, information, or experiences that might help me navigate this situation well.

Edit: I live on the top floor, so this is likely a roof issue.

Brown Celery

I bought what looked like gorgeous celery at the farmer’s market last weekend but when I opened it up and started washing it, I saw that many of the stalks were brown inside.

Do you guys toss stalks that look like this? Or do you think they’re okay?

Omega MM900HDS motor for sale - $35 plus shipping

I purchased a used juicer online and when it came, the juicing screen wasn’t in great shape. The seller and I settled on a partial refund.

I have seen folks in various MM groups looking for a new motor, so I thought I’d put this out there. I’m happy to sell it for what it cost me - $35 plus shipping.

Alternately, if someone has a juicing screen they are looking to get rid of, I’d be happy to pay the same amount - $35 plus shipping.

Digestive Troubles

I had some weird CJ about 2 weeks ago (watery) and I’ve had worsening digestive symptoms ever since. Lots of gas, watery stool, and bloating/trapped gas.

I’m thinking about doing a stool sample test to see if I have C. Diff or cyclosporiasis or something. My stool isn’t “explosive” and I’m not having to go all the time or anything, it’s just watery when I do go and there’s so much gas, it’s incredible. I’m not vomiting, I’m not nauseas, but I am losing my appetite.

Any thoughts on good tests or other ways to determine what’s going on?

If I don’t find anything, maybe I’ll just cut back on CJ and work my way back up again?

Loneliness

I have been living in isolation since 2016 and I’ve been alone in isolation since 2020. Now that I’m starting to feel a bit better physically, I’m noticing more acutely how lonely I am and also how anxious I am around people. I had C-PTSD when I went into isolation and although processing the memories using EMDR was very helpful for the nightmares and some other symptoms, I still feel very uncomfortable around people.

The only MM tools I can think of to help with these issues are eating grapes, which help you find your people, talking to the angels, and doing meditations daily. I’m still too sick to do many things like go for a walk and I am so low in glucose that I’m eating 15 lbs of potatoes/day, which takes up a lot of my time (cooking, cleaning, etc.)

Do you guys have any other ideas of things I can do to help alleviate my loneliness?

Will these MM tools break a mono cleanse?

Brain shots?

Coconut water?

I found the link about mono cleanse drink recipes on the MM website, which suggests that drinks like freshly squeezed apple juice, apple/cucumber juice, and honey/lemon water would break the cleanse. I’m not sure about coconut water, though, because you don’t need a recipe for it. For example, it’s not listed on the recipes for the HMDS cleanse either but I assume it’s allowed since it’s an optional ingredient in the smoothie, itself.

How to boost the immune system of the liver

I seem to remember that there are specific foods or supplements that help the liver’s immune system but I don’t remember where I read it.

Is that in Liver Rescue? Anyone know where? Or just know off the top of their head?

Which scene makes you laugh out loud no matter how many times you see it?

For me, it’s the scene where Leslie and the team are coming out to the podium on ice. It doesn’t matter that I know what’s coming, it’s brilliantly choreographed and perfectly executed. At some point I start laughing and can’t stop.

Should people with chemical sensitivities go slower?

From Cleanse to Heal:

>Everyone with chemical and food sensitivities is different. You’re welcome to explore any of the supplements in this chapter. The list here is simply a starting point for some sensitive people. The fresh celery juice, celery-force, and raw honey can become part of your daily routine. For other herbs and supplements, take only one supplement one day, another the next, and so on, cycling through the full list of what you want to try over the course of several days instead of taking them all in one day. If you decide to take all of the supplements in this list, it means you’ll be on an eight-day cycle. A sensitivity is yet another reason to stay away from supplements with 50 ingredients in one bottle, which you will not find advised here.

Daily
- Fresh celery juice: try to work up to 16 ounces daily
- Celery-force: 1 capsule daily
- Raw honey: 1 teaspoon or more daily

Cycle through, with one per day:
- 5-MTHFL: 1 capsule
- Barley grass juice powder: 1/2 teaspoon or 1 capsule
- Lemon balm: 1 dropperful
- L-lysine: 500 milligrams
- Peppermint: 1 cup of tea
- Vitamin B12 (as adenosylcobalamin with mythlcobalamin): 1 dropperful
- Vitamin C (as Micro-C): 2 capsules
- Vitamin D3: 1,000 IU

I understand that we are all unique and that most of us with chemical sensitivities also have other issues that we’re treating at the same time but I just want to make sure I’m understanding this correctly. Is he saying that if you have chemical sensitivities, taking these supplements daily is too much?

Evening Liver Flush?

I’ve been reading some sections in through Cleanse to Heal familiarizing myself with some of the cleanses. I noticed that many of them suggest 32 oz of lemon water in the evening in addition to the water in the morning. Does this flush the liver in the same way or is it just a matter of staying hydrated?

Chemical Fragrances coming in through a common doorway

Hi MM community. I’m looking for some help dealing with a new neighbor.

I live in a studio apartment that has two doors. One of them is the one I use and it goes directly outside onto my balcony, where I can take the steps down to the street. The other is unusable. It’s blocked by a heavy metal cabinet and goes to a hallway used by the next apartment over. It’s mostly just a stairway but there’s some space at the top for coats and shoes, etc.

A new neighbor moved in a few months ago and whew, she loves her air fresheners. I’ve tried taping the gap up with various types of tape but nothing has worked. I did some research online and found the following article, with a bunch of good ideas. I’m wondering if anyone has experience with any of these ideas or has other thoughts on how to seal the door.
