Do you guys know about Venom? That superhero who we call an anti-hero character, who not only fought for justice but also represented that no matter how much power you have, you always kneel for your loved ones. In the 2018 movie, we see two totally broken souls—Eddie Brock, a man who lost everything, and Venom, an outcast from another world—who were both just trying to find a place to belong. What really makes Venom special isn't just his strength; it’s that chaotic, hilarious, and deeply relatable personality. He’s a total mood—one minute he’s a terrifying beast, and the next he’s basically an impulsive, hungry kid who loves tater tots and gives Eddie the most blunt life advice. He’s messy, he’s loud, and he’s fiercely loyal to the one person who finally accepted him.
Venom gave Eddie the strength to stand up again, and Eddie gave Venom a heart and a reason to protect humanity instead of destroying it. Together, they proved that even the most "monstrous" among us can choose to be a protector when they have someone worth fighting for. Honestly, I’d love if Venom appears in *Avengers: Doomsday* to help save the multiverse, but sadly, or maybe he won't, it seems like he might stay in his own corner for now. Either way, their story shows that being a hero isn't about being perfect; it's about two "losers" coming together to do something legendary.
I rely on my hearing devices from 7:00 AM until late at night, but lately, they are completely draining by late afternoon. It is exhausting having to constantly monitor my power levels and lug my charging case everywhere just to survive evening social events or late work meetings.
I strongly suspect there might be a defect, because a mid-tier rechargeable set really ought to hold a charge for much longer than nine hours. I have scheduled a visit with my clinic to investigate the issue, but I am already preparing myself for the possibility of needing a completely new pair that can actually keep up with my schedule.
Are my expectations too high, or is there likely something wrong with the hardware?
I want to place stickers on my car; however, I have concerns regarding their longevity because I certainly don’t want them peeling off quickly once placed.
There is a plethora of relatively cheap stickers online, some even bought from Alibaba, which produces overly expensive stickers. However, what interests me most is their longevity, especially in view of weather conditions.
For all those who have experience with car stickers before:
What aspects am I supposed to look at, e.g., type of vinyl, coating, or adhesive properties?
I have dysautonomia and some neuropathy in my feet and finding socks that work for both is harder than I expected. The POTS side wants some compression for the blood pooling. The neuropathy side wants no seams, no tight bands, nothing that can irritate and go undetected. These things seem to pull in opposite directions. Anyone navigated this?
I’ve been going back and forth lately between buying a new place or just staying put and using some equity from my current home. A few weeks ago, I felt like I had a pretty clear plan. I had rough numbers in mind and everything seemed doable. Now after checking again, the payments are higher than I expected, and what’s throwing me off even more is how different the quotes look depending on who I talk to. I didn’t expect that much variation for what seems like the same situation.
At this point I don’t even know if I should keep moving forward or just take a step back and rethink everything.
