So so interesting episode… honestly, It’s getting better and better. This whole week has been SO good, and I’m loving all the performances.

Hamna simply saying “Abu Bakar ki biwi” and walking into the house. Khushbakht treated her nicely, but we could clearly see that she didn’t fully believe her story. She even checked Hamna’s bag looking for the nikahnama, which makes sense because how are you supposed to believe a random girl showing up and claiming she’s son’s wife? But honestly, Hamna isn’t really giving me liar vibes either. There might actually be some truth to her story. We still didn’t get much about Hamna and Abu Bakar’s relationship, and the episode ended on another cliffhanger when Abu Bakar didn’t exactly deny that he knew Hamna.

And Zaryab… GIRL 😭 she is SO rude and ill-mannered. Dadi was completely right, and honestly thank God she told Zaryab’s parents everything she had heard about Zamil and the drinking/drugs instead of keeping it to herself. Zaryab is so heartless sometimes. She has a heart only for Zamil and apparently nobody else exists when it comes to him. Even when Dadi is genuinely concerned, she talks to her so disrespectfully.

And then ANOTHER TWIST - Zamil has left somewhere for a week. This boy is clearly in such a mess. His message about “kaun hoon, kya hoon, chahta kya hoon” genuinely felt like someone going through a very dark mental/emotional phase. The word “galti” is used. Zaryab was obviously very disturbed by that message, especially after she remembered Dadi’s words AND Zamil's earlier “spend some more time with me”. Something is definitely bothering her.

We finally got info that Zamil and Zaryab’s is in university. Zaryab says that after his grades went down, Zamil wasn't really talking to anyone at university except her, and apparently she has been helping him with applications, statements and everything for Master’s abroad. Zaryab is not telling the whole truth. 👀 When she heard Zamil mention “galti” in the message, her reaction was noticeably more concerned. I don't think she has no idea what he's talking about. Maybe she genuinely doesn't know everything, but there is definitely something she is hiding.

So basically 2 episodes = 2 major twists 😭 First Hamna suddenly appears as Abu Bakar’s wife, and now Zamil disappears for a week with a very concerning message.

Honestly, such an interesting episode, and I really liked all the performances too.

According to Zaryab's sister, Zamil was already occasionally drinking, but now he’s getting into drugs and is regularly attending parties. Zaryab's sister is clearly worried and tries to make her understand that using something for stress relief and developing a drug habit are two very different things. But honestly, Zaryab ignoring all these red flags 😭 She knows he’s struggling with depression, knows about the drinking, knows about the drugs and still seems to believe that everything will be fine once he goes to the US. I understand that she loves him and wants to believe he'll be okay, but this is clearly not something that will magically disappear with a change of country.

Abu Bakar impresses Minister during their meeting, and the minister even asks for his number. 👀 I’m curious... I also really liked Abu Bakar’s conversation with his mother about class and marriage. He wants to marry a middle-class girl because he feels that marrying into an upper-class family could come with a sense of entitlement, and he doesn't want anyone to look down on him or his mother.

The whole wedding was basically Zamil getting jealous, Dadi getting increasingly concerned, Abu Bakar being completely chill, and Zaryab being rude to Abu Bakar while acting like she couldn't care less 😂. Zaryab clearly had some reaction to everything happening around her, but kept trying to act unbothered. Meanwhile Zamil's jealousy was getting harder to ignore, and Dadi seemed to notice that something was seriously off.

And then Beenish enters (who say I love you abu bakar)... She’s Abu Bakar’s university batchmate from the US, they’re comfortable with each other and she jokes around with him, so Zaryab watching from a distance is like 👀 LOVE AFFAIR??? Meanwhile Abu Bakar is explaining to his mother that Beenish used to tease him because his ears turn red whenever someone says “I love you.” 😭

Nothing was actually shown or mentioned about them getting physical, so I don't want to assume that as a fact. But honestly, I do feel like something might have happened between them. Dadi’s reaction and the way she was so worried, along with Zaryab’s reaction afterwards, made me suspicious. Maybe there’s something the drama is deliberately keeping hidden for now. We’ll have to see what they reveal later.

OMG THE ENDING 😭😭😭

Romaisa’s entry and then she casually says “Abu Bakar ki biwi.”

After an entire episode where Abu Bakar is talking about how he isn't ready for marriage, his mother is worried about finding him a “special girl,” and he keeps saying everything has its own time…

Romaisa just walks in claiming to be his wife???

Abu Bakar ki biwi??? 😭 Okay, I NEED the next episode.

According to Something Haute, the casting of Laila Majnu has not been finalized yet. Yumna and Bilal are among the names being discussed, and Hassan said his source considers the rumour around 60% accurate. So there are definitely conversations happening, but nothing is confirmed yet. Apparently, the final casting decision could be made by the end of this week or early next week. If Bilal and Yumna actually reunite for this drama, it would be a Pyar Ke Sadqay reunion ❤️

So, we might get clear news on Laila Majnu by next week. They also mentioned that the project is going to start later, so there’s still time for the actors to manage their dates.

Overall, I actually enjoyed this episode. The performances were better than the first two... Zaryab and Zamil are both impulsive, but Zamil is way more insecure. Zaryab is literally obsessed with him and keeps reassuring him, but he still isn't sure about himself or their relationship... Abu Bakkar is becoming more interesting. I liked how calm and respectful he was during the whole incident, even when Dadi was upset. The reveal about his career, Harvard programme and how established he actually is was interesting, especially because nobody seemed to know much about him 😂 Zamil immediately Googling his LinkedIn, Facebook and website and felt threatened by him.

I also liked the contrast between Abu Bakkar and Zamil. Zamil is confused and insecure about his future, while Abu Bakkar seems much more sorted and confident. And the fact that Zamil suddenly decides to improve himself after finding out about Abu Bakkar... sir really needed a rival for motivation 😂

The Dadi vs Zaryab's mom conversation about tarbiyat was also interesting. They clearly have very different ideas about upbringing, although Dadi is definitely doing way too much moral policing 😭

And from the next episode's preview, Zamil's insecurities seem like they're only going to increase, while Zaryab's sister is also suspecting that he might be taking drugs 👀 So maybe a breakup is coming soon?
