short duration trips?

Has anyone else experienced having a significantly shorter trip than what the research/web says about? From the top of my mind shrooms 4-6 hrs, LSD 8-12.

Set a timer for 8 hrs, trip is going well, took a warm shower, looked at walls, temperature, look at walls, super philosophical insights about my life, look at wall.

But after I came out I was watching outdoor boys and thinking about recruiting to the army and then eventually got tired, I got up shut off everything and I look at my timer it still says 4 hrs left?? I laugh. Then lay in bed, Right now it’s been 5 hrs past onset and i’m feeling completely sober besides tinnitus and overstimulated feeling of the comedown.

Cool trip just wanted to share and ask.

If you fold your mirrors the pony comes out

Just found this out after a year of having the car, my mirrors don’t fold by themselves, I started folding them with the dedicated button ( top left from windows control ) As I was walking my dog this evening suddenly I saw the pony lit up on the floor to my surprise :)

Hey y’all, I started Accutane 2 months ago and so far I actually feel good and things seem to be improving. For context, I’m on 20 mg and weigh [add your weight here].

What’s stressing me out is the cost. My initial visit ended up being about $320 after insurance, and my first follow-up was about $200 after insurance. On top of that, the prescription itself is around $65, so I’m looking at roughly $265 a month just to stay on treatment, not even counting the higher onboarding visit.

The part that’s hard for me to understand is that the follow-ups are usually only about 5–10 minutes. It’s mostly a quick check-in about progress and side effects, so seeing a $200 bill after insurance for that feels pretty rough as a student.

I’m not asking for medical advice about dosage, purging, or side effects I’m mainly asking whether these kinds of dermatology follow-up costs are normal with insurance, or if this sounds like something worth questioning with billing/insurance. At this point I’m honestly considering postponing treatment just because the cost is getting hard to justify.

Hey ya’ll, I started treatment 2 months ago. I feel good and things are improving for me, but the dermatology costs are stacking up faster than I can handle as a student. Right now I’m paying about $200 per follow-up visit out of pocket, plus about $65 for the 20 mg prescription, so roughly $265 a month just to stay on treatment.

The onboarding was 320$ after insurance, then I had a follow up visit for 200$ after Insurance. follow-ups are usually only 5–10 minute visits where I get asked a few questions about progress and side effects, nothing that feels like it should cost $200 a visit. That’s basically $1,200–$2,400 an hour.

Is this normal for derm follow-ups with insurance, or does this sound worth pushing back on with billing/insurance? At this point I’m seriously considering postponing treatment because the cost is getting hard to justify.
