Hey queens, I am in a black metal band, and part of the aesthetic is wearing what we call corpse paint. It's just really heavy black and white paint stylized to be vaguely demonic or creepy or whatever. Problem is the paint doesn't dry and it smudges like crazy and your hair gets stuck to it and yadda yadda. In a live setting all of this is not ideal. I was advised to try using hairspray to force the paint to dry and stick in place do I went and got a bottle of "got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Spray" and it worked! But it worked *too* well. The paint cracked and flaked which is also not ideal. Granted I can live with it, it looks kinda like decaying skin which is a certainly a look that could be pulled off while screaming about Satan. But still, would rather it not flake like this if I can figure out how to avoid it. So queens what product or process would y'all suggest that I try? Attached here is a pic forgive the shitty lines this was all just to test the spray. Thank yall in advance!

Also in case y'all want the info, the paint i use is Ben Nye Creme Colors
Hey there metal musicians,
I'm the vocalist for a black metal band and im having trouble memorizing my lyrics. We've got our first show in a month and during rehearsals I keep dropping lines, forgetting lines, or singing the line for that riff but for its next iteration ( you know, the B section comes back a few times but the lyrics are different for each and I'll sing the lyrics for the second B section instead of the first). The parts I fuck up aren't consistent, its a different thing I fuck up at each rehearsal. If it was the same lines over and over again I'd know how to practice and fix that but it ain't the same so Im not sure how to proceed.
I know, im screaming, the audience will have no idea if i forget and sub a line with just gibberish, however there are some queues the band gets from me to anchor themselves into a transition so for their sake, and for the sake of being fucking professional, I need to nail this shit. So, any tips for memorizing so I quit fucking up? Thanks in advance and cheers.
