What happened to the good rich-girl trope in Turkish series? Why are they all suddenly so soft and naive? Yes, I'm talking about Leyla and Naz. Everything is starting to feel so forced, like writers have forgotten how to write a genuinely interesting rich girl. Miss the rich girls who were spoiled, ambitious, smart, a little bitchy and actually had their own plot outside of some man. They didn't have to be evil, but at least give them some personality and agency. Now it's just "I love him be why doesn't he love me "boo ho GIRL STAND UP.
