Howdy, just picked up the Action 4 for cheap. Would love to know the proper settings here to eliminate the jello led light effect when I move and walk in stores. No problems outside but I am just having issues with getting the right setting combo to stop that from happening. Walmart, Target, etc. I do Toy Hunts in stores often. How do avoid this and also avoid high noise static in the video is appreciated, I cant seem to get this right.

Is it just better to disable all the internal ISB and run with the gyro sensor data instead at higher framefate that is stabilized in gyroflow or something else?

Bought this EV10, the cam turns on but wont register the tamron 18300 lens, says lens not connected or not supported. I cleaned the contacts, I am using a real sony battery. 99.9% likely I got scammed. But, before I go cry about it because the seller is long gone and not replying after 2 days, am I missing anything that can cause this?

I cant update the lens firmware because the lens wont register but there is a dude on Youtube who said that connecting the lens to another Emount body, then connecting it to the EV10 will make it work.

bought a used E10 and it was in mint condition, looks brand new. My tamron 18300 lens wont register with it, camera works normally otherwise but I dont have any other lens's to work with to test, and nobody on Facebook willing to help me in the area, and I personally dont know anyone or have any camera stores anywhere near. Best buys near me dont carry REAL display cameras, they are all dummy bodies. lol

I cleaned the pins as best I could, they were looking mint to me, my lens worked normally on my last a6600 that I had prior to this e10.

I cant update the firmware on the lens, because it wont register the connection.

And I originally started with a 3rd party battery, and was told that could lead to this problem too, so I bought a refurb battery from amazon from Sony direct, and its still having this nonconnection problem.

"Lens is not attached correctly or not supported"

I have no idea what else I can do. I did reset the cam, and apparently I cannot downgrade the firmware from 2.02.

So am I SOL?

Just sold my A6600, this lens worked fine, just bought an E10, and now this doesnt work and tamrons device firmware updated and also sonys wont register the lens and let me update it. I cleaned the contacts, the camera is in perfect condition. Any ideas on what I can do here to confirm this is just a busted camera? like I dont have any lens or anyone anywhere near me that has one.

Howdy, so I have a fused right ankle, meaning the bones are all locked, and a left ankle replacement, so my ankles are in bad shape and I cant ride a normal bike anymore. I need an escooter and a local shop has a Gotrax Raptor for $650 and they might drop to $500 for me. They also have a Segway G2 Max for $500 and might do $400.

My needs are range, and excellent suspension/wheels. The area I live in doesnt have smooth roads or sidewalks, so a regular build wont last long. I need something that can really handle cracks in the road and sidewalks without shattering on contact.

I dont care about the speed, 15mph is fine and actually preferred in my area. Weight doesnt matter, I wont ever be lifting it. So the size of the unit doesnt matter (giggidy). I see the G2 has better range but lesser shocks and tires than the Raptor.

But, whatever other models are out there that are on this $500ish level that might be good for me? I am cool buying used on amazon or locally.

What would you do?

Route 1 - Stick with the RX100vii and power through the sony catalyst converting that also takes a portion of my soul per day to achieve. But, its photography is absurdly good and so is the video, making it an all in one.

Route 2 - pick up the pocket 3 and use it for video, and the rx100vii for photos.

Route 3 - Sell the RX100vii and skip the Pocket 3, try to fund an A6700 or one of the better stabilized sony emount bodys.

If route 3, which body? A6700 is just "good" at stability, but not nearly as good as the pocket 3.

I am half vlogger half photographer and I love my RX100MK7. The stability is the biggest issue and constantly using Catalyst is extremely annoying and time consuming with the amount of files I have to sync up. I still have a tamron 18300mm lens just sitting here from my a6600 rig that I sold recently. My problem is that nobody I could find ANYWHERE on youtube has used the A6700 and the 18300mm in a store like Walmart, or target. I do my vlogs there often and the LED jelly light effect was a huge problem for me.

Would the A6700 stability + the tamron stability really clear this problem? The RX100vii stuggles with low light even in Walmart despite having bright LED lights all over. Funny enough, my A6600 did not but it had no stability at all and sucked with the 18300mm for video.

Legit, idk what to do and sadly no shops or people around will let me use their a6700 to test with.

Howdy, I'm just a simple vlogger trying to make his way in the galaxy. I have been using an Osmo Nano with meh results and BAD results indoors in places like Walmart. I cant get the cam to stop making any LED lights look like jello and pulsating with each step.

My RX100vii has stability issues, so I run it through Catalyst and it helps, but I need higher Shutter to achieve it, and when you do that, all the LED hz response for lights will cause vertical lines, so you have to pick, do you want no stability, or black vertical lines.

Recording at 1/125 on the RX100vii results in "meh" cohesion with the gyro data softwares. Looks like 250+ is really required but that instantly causes black vertical lines. This is GREAT for outdoor at 1/250 or 1/300ish. No problem there of course but indoors? Unusable.

The Stability on the Osmo nano is damn great, but it makes any LED lights look like I just baked some jello and applied it to all the LED lights :D

How the hell do I get by this?
