Someone said UA has some big news coming. One person speculated stock dividends another speculated a new line. Is there any truth to this or is it total gossip? Where can someone go to find the big up-and-coming news with respect to the company?
Made an offer under listing price (25 under) in the DC area. They have a pool that needs refinished (~15), an unfinished fence, and other odds and ends.
Seller came back with minimal ask — something like 5 over my offer — 20 under ask.
In the time between, I’ve had a rethink. I noticed the poor school district, amongst other things regarding comps. I think my initial offer was too high. It should be 15 under their counter.
Market is starting to cool (sitting a month now). Should I walk away?
Other details:
- market us cooling; other houses are dropping prices
- the comps they had were other properties in much better school districts (them: 4/10; comps: 9/10)
- house sold in spring went for 120 under their asking; coming off 20 is still overvalued
