So when I was like 8(male btw) , she was 7yo she saw me naked (cant tell you the context its too embarrassing) ... we weren't that close frnds at the time but now we are 17 about 10+ years of frndship and she's my female bsf we grew up together we are neighbours we hangout every week and i damn sure know that her memory is amazing and there's no way she can forget it but we never talked about what happened she never mentioned it

i confessed my 3.5 year crush

the convo ended and none of us texted back
until... 9 days later
she texts me about asking about normal school stuff
and she acknowledges that i confessed without any expectations which is really good and it all began..

we texted each other everyday since that day , even today. i told her the entire 3.5 year story , i eventually even showed her this reddit post , she appreciated all my efforts A LOTTT and she likes me back and she said yes!!! and she flirts like crazy with me now which just feels unbelievable

the "out of my league" crush whom i put on pedestal likes me back now, the odds of that are incredibly low since the last time i saw her was 10 months ago and i never even talked to her in school but im so so sooo grateful things worked out, we mutually agreed to not get into a relationship rn cuz we have some imp exams and we decided we make it official after it but idk we still act like we are in a relationship

then i asked her why she didnt say yes/no after my confession , she just said that i didn't text her anything back so she assumed i just wanted to confess and didn't want things to go ahead. which i interpreted as rejection

anyways i experienced rejection and approval from the same girl!! pro tip : please confess your crush no matter how impossible it seems , even if you get rejected , trust me its better than living in what if's
