What is actually happening to my phone?

So, I downloaded an apk. Scanned it, and saw it was a trojan. Accidentally installed it and I accidentally opened it. It crashed when I just opened it. After that, everything seem fine. Then I deleted it and the apk file.

I remember that virustotal link about the apk has permissions of that apk. So, I think I might be fine as long as I don't grant it any special permissions like storage, which I already solved. But, I don't know. I might be wrong.

I have an trojan in my android phone and I need some tips to back up data before I factory reset.

Short story: Downloaded the app, installed the app,

Opened the app but not grant it any permissions. Then everything seems ok at a glance.

Longer story:

Ok, so I downloaded an apk on my cousin's phone, because I wanted my cousin to fully play his favorite game. Because it's his birthday today. But I decided that I had to download the apk into my phone instead just as an extra safety measure.

Now, after I scanned it. I found out that there are a lot of discrepancies. But I forgot to delete the file after a while.

Then, my little sister wanted to borrow my phone, because she wanted to play some games.

However, before she wanted to download some games on the playstore. She was somehow technical enough to explore into my phone's file explorer. She's just curious what was in my downloads folder and saw the trojan file and imstalled it. But luckily, she didn't bother opening it. Because she couldn't find it.

So, after I got my phone back. I tried to uninstall the app, but my finger slipped and it opened.

What i saw was a gray screen then it just crashes and sends me right back outside of the app.

I didn't grant it any special permissions like to my storage or anything. I just went in and I got out.

Now, that I think of it.

I read something about permissions in the file analysis link of the file.

So, as long as I dont grant it any special permissions. Then I'm good, right? I could be wrong though.

So, after that blunder. Everything seems to be as it was before I opened it. But idk, Im unsure.

Which one of these indie game situations is harder in terms of scd?

Let's say you have to pick one situation to solve, you're not playing the game. You're in the world of the game itself, therefore you have one life.

  1. Getting into the neighbor's basement in Hello Neighbor (Alpha version, not the final release specifically)

  2. Getting out of granny's house in granny 1.

  3. Collecting all of the notebooks and leaving the school in Baldi's basics.

  4. Surviving all five nights at freddys in fnaf 1.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that you have no prior knowledge of the game, however to keep things interesting.

I decided that the first round of the game situation you're supposed to be solving has prior knowledge and the second round does not have prior knowledge.
