Hey I was wondering if there is any good excuse to switch positions.

I am seasonal worker and yes I know that you cannot transfer to another position.

But ik one of my coworkers used a medical accommodation to switch from stow to pack. (She was stowing perfectly on the first day of training but she couldn’t do the op so she used the medical accommodation and said can’t lift 15 pounds??)

I have two write ups and I am on the verge of getting fired.

I already know you guys are going to judge but if anyone has a good excuse please let me know cz I want to keep working at Amazon.

Do u guys think it’s fair for whoever gets to the automatic gate first should get to pick a cage to stow?
Context: I work at a traditional Amazon warehouse with no robots and stowing is my position. And our rate must be 100 UPH. (The rate is so unbelievably unrealistic because most of our packages are big vertical packages that no one wants to stow)

But sometimes there are small packages that are easy to stow but these small packages have caused so many problems in my workplace. It’s basically like a race and a freaking war zone to get the packages.

I honestly don’t think it’s fair for people who got there first should stow because you can easily finish quick and if you do finish quick. You will be the first one to go the gate and then you will be able to pick a cage again. My coworkers keep saying whoever gets there first should pick, which is truly fucking dumb. (I don’t listen to them and I still pick first if I get the chance) but the reason why I got on here to type is because it’s basically 8 coworkers that say that bs compared to 1 other person in my workplace that agrees with me.

To anyone that doesn’t go to the gym: Have you guys lost a ton of weight by walking so much here?

Idk but these gloves smell like bounce that ass. Idk if it’s the sweat that makes it smell strange but something ain’t right
