I am not born nor raised in Türkiye but I have watched Turkish Dizis from 2010 when I was six years old with all of my families and they usually don't understand the language but the shows were engaging enough to the point where we watch it every night and I pretty much had seen most of the dizis that were airing then Covid came and somehow I haven't seen any dizi after covid but I always see edits on Tiktok of the current shows post covid and it also had gained new fans across the world and now all of a sudden people are now praising newer dizis and comparing it to the old ones mostly the newer generations. So last year I decided to watch Hudutsuz Sevda to see what the hype was about and it's got good story but it lacked soul for me. Like there is a minimum effort from the production or the story to make it stand out. Maybe I might be biased but all the recent dizis have the same look, repetitive story lines and similar performance. I was wondering if anyone shares a common ground as mine.

I'll try to write this so I wouldn't offend the fans from both side of MC/MCK. If we're going based on what was given on the series, when it comes to any political activities or struggle outside the harem, Kosem Sultan faced the most struggle also the most influential over the janissaries which it gave her the experience, influence and power over the janissaries after Murad IV became sultan.

On the other hand Hurrem Sultan was more interested in the harem drama over who wins Suleiman's heart over multiple up and coming concubines for the the first three seasons. I admire that she did pave the way for many Sultanate of women that came after her but that all happened because of Sultan Suleiman's favor.

If Suleiman had died on an early age as Ahmed I, Hurrem's reigning days would've probably lasted until the succession struggle between Mustafa and her sons consume her.

And another opinion is whom ever people pick whether Hurrem or Kosem are only picking their preference over the actresses who portrayed those characters not because the actual historical woman most of the time especially the newer generations
