How to not go crazy waiting for kicks

I’m 23 weeks pregnant and still haven’t felt any definitive kicks. I’d say once a week I feel flutters but only once so I’m not sure if that’s baby or just my belly.

At 20 week anatomy scan doctor said everything looked good and to assume everything bc is good unless told otherwise, but I’m naturally a pessimist so my mind keeps going to worst case scenarios.

How do I not drive myself crazy while waiting for kicks? I don’t have another appointment for a week and then no ultrasound until 28 week growth scan.

How bad is sleeping on your back?

I know it’s recommended to sleep on your side later in pregnancy. I’m 21 weeks today and cannot sleep worth crap.
I got a pregnancy pillow at 18 weeks to help me stay on my side more, but every night I wake up and I’m on my back in the middle of the pillow.

The main thing is when I’m sleeping, those moments when you are slightly less asleep and more alert, I notice I’m on my back and then my brain fully wakes up. Then I can’t go back to sleep for a long time.

So to help ease my mind, has anyone slept on their back the whole pregnancy and been fine? I’m worried about limiting the blood flow to the placenta and hurting my baby but also want to be able to sleep while I can.

Also still not able to feel kicks or anything yet, so have no true way of knowing if baby is okay or not.

I’m 7 weeks (baby measuring 6 weeks 2 days). I’m so unbelievably nauseous. I never want to do this again. I don’t know why people willingly or unwillingly do this.

Please tell me it gets better and when.

I feel like I’m just at the start and it’s going to be the longest 9 months. And I don’t want a single baby but I really don’t want to do this again because this is horrible. I can’t even really work because all I can think about is not throwing up.
