Pt1 destroying a huge mountain
Have you ever felt like you were just so bored of mining diamonds so instead you gave your whole free time into mining a whole mountain instead of getting diamonds :)

Life is not a ruthless leader, unless you actually know you’re willing to go far in it.
It’s like having a cup of coffee in the middle of the morning, reading an old essay or old newspaper.
If your eyeball is tied to it, you might be obsessed with the writing, but you’re not willing to go far enough to go hide in it.
Because fear will always take over your obsessions, your will to live, and the will to think and do actions based on your viewpoints.
That is what philosophy is called, behind the hidden figures that shallow around your room.
Because when you stare, you cannot see them, so what you do is you hide?
Running away doesn’t solve any problems. Hiding behind a mask, full of laughter and full of things that are not part of your life, is a disaster.
I think following of who you wanna be is more into analogy than what is truly important and necessary.
Rules are just a coping mechanism to stop you from belonging somewhere.
The more rules you have an organization, the more the corruption starts to hang over you.
Because you view yourself as an anarchy that follows and stumbles wherever he lands.
As a giant almost roaring the forest.
I joined into the world later after hosting a server for beta 1.6.6 to see he have build something next to my house that looks like an empty pirate ship house.
Tell me what you guys would have done if your friend did this to your world :)
I finally got sick of looking at my ugly base, so I’m building a massive red wool cube completely over it to hide it.
The interior layout is a total mix of stone, wood, and a full obsidian floor. Because this is Beta 1.6.6, there are absolutely zero enchantments. Mining that obsidian floor at base speed took a brutal 15 seconds per block, and my base itself isn't even made out of it.
The wool cube was an even worse nightmare. Shears aren't in the game yet, so I had to manually punch individual sheep to death just to get 15 stacks of wool. Since breeding doesn't exist and wool doesn't regrow, I had to sprint thousands of blocks out into the overworld constantly hunting new sheep and foraging for single roses just to keep the wool dyed red.
For the lighting, I hung the glowstone from the very top of the cube so it shines all the way down onto the main base inside. Misplacing even one block meant shattering it and wasting dust, especially since Silk Touch isn't a thing until Beta 1.9 Prerelease 4.
People who play modern Minecraft have no idea how painful this was. No sheep wool regrowth, manual rose hunting, and endless rendering glitches. My inventory is finally complete. Was the grind worth it?
I just finished "Project 1" in my world. It's a 30-second clip, but it actually took me about an hour to edit down from 11 minutes of 60fps footage because I went through it frame-by-frame.
The video shows me building a deck and some staircases coming up out of the water. While I was working, Mr. Chicken and Mrs. Chicken randomly walked straight into my base. Somehow, my dog Bravo and Mr. Chicken ended up becoming best friends right there. Some other unexpected things happened during the session too.
Just wanted to share a straightforward look at what I'm building and the random moments that happen in this version. Let me know what you think of the waterfront deck!
Every time I look at Yammy, I still can’t tell if the 10-to-0 twist was a stroke of absolute genius or Kubo just pulling the ultimate prank on the fanbase. Did anyone actually feel intimidated when his number dropped?
was messing with my world saves earlier because a couple files got messed up and when I loaded back in everything went completely wrong lol. look at my inventory idk what I even did to make it do this. at least the everything is still normal though.
anyone else ever break their game this bad changing versions or did I actually kill my save 😂
The starter house is finally done but the grind was a total mess lol. I was halfway through finishing the roof when I ran completely out of both cobblestone and wood, so I had to drop everything and run straight back into the mines for resources. Since my chests were basically empty, I also had to track down sand for the glass windows just to wrap it up :) Let me know what you think of how this custom wood and cobblestone combo looks compared to Stampy’s classic style!
Hello guys! I am back. Sorry I deleted three of my posts, but I am on the Beta 1.8 version now. I switched versions just to do my posts here, because the rules say that anything below Beta 1.8 will get your post removed.
Since those original posts gained a lot of attention and most of the community already saw them, I’m going to give you a teaser instead! Here is the build that I’ve been creating on the original seed I talked about two days ago. It is made out of cobblestone and wooden planks, which is completely different from Stampy’s design, but it is very unique.
This version also shows the interior better and I really like the design. Tell me what you think about it!
Has anyone else noticed this pathfinding loop in Beta 1.6.6?
If you lead a creeper into deep ocean water and back away exactly 16 blocks (their tracking limit), their land-detection routine soft-locks. Because they stop moving completely, the game's idle timer forces a rapid despawn.
I recorded a quick clip of it happening in real-time to show the exact distance threshold where the AI freezes up.
I wanted to share the actual gameplay plan for this world. Playing on pure Beta 1.6.6 completely changes how you have to build. Since there is no sprinting or food stacking, just clearing land for the automated tree farm was a massive project.
Right next to the farm, I am digging the foundations for the Hidden House of Gold. The name is a tribute to the golden era and Stampy's house, but the actual architecture is going to be my own unique design. Instead of copying him block-for-block, I am letting the natural hill formations of this 1.6.6 seed inspire my custom buildings.
I am committing to a full 50-day survival grind before I even think about adding mini-games. What classic building blocks should I mix with the old cobblestone texture for the house?
I am starting a solo-inspired project on Java Beta 1.6.6 using the original Stampy Longnose world seed. I am not copying his exact buildings. Instead, I am using the seed to create my own original builds.
Right now, I have a tree farm set up outside my house to gather wood. I am looking for a partner or two who want to hang out, chop trees, and help me build this world from scratch.
If you miss old-school Minecraft and want to join me, send me a private message (DM) and we can figure out how to connect!
Wow! Thanks everyone for making this one of the best posts today! 1,400 views is insane!
