Is there a place we can go look and see how much buyback and burn uniswap is do for UNI? Is this still a thing or was it only temporary?
Hype token/coin only has about 25% of its total coins in circulation. I looked and saw that every month on the 5th they are unlocking millions of hype tokens that gets dumped on us. These shares belong to early private buyer, VCs, and Team members/owners of the project. The 97-99% buyback and burn is a distraction. It’s still nothing compared to the coins being released and sold every month. This is all public knowledge if you just go do 1 search on Hype token’s release schedule.
So on the surface HYPE looks like the best thing since sliced-bread. I must admit I even bot some this morning since its been dropping a lot. We always get tunnel vision when dealjng with our favorite cryptos, we only see and focus in the positives and whatever is flashed before our eyes. Today I want to list out the redflags and negatives i see in hype.
* Circulating supply too low - only 25% of HYPE is in circulation. Compare that to Bitcoin and we looking at like 0ver 90%. The low circulating supply means that MANY more shared are left to be unlocked and distributed that can dump on you by Insiders and VCs.
* The price shot so fast and out of nowhere, by the time most of us learned about HYPE , we were buying at almost the top. Was this by design, I dont know but either way its bad. You were better of getting in at $3 or $10 rather than $70 or $60...... you feel me???
* They copying Micro Strategdy, they made a stock ticker symbol "PURR" and hyping it up to attract people. Are they just smart people using a model ghat already worked.... in someone else favor.
* If we dont sustain high user count and actigity then the whole business model fails. We rely on the trading fees on the DEX.
* The 97-99% of all fees are used for buyback and hurn. Is this just to entice us to get in then dump on us as their shares unlock? How the hell they make revenue to sustain operations or grow ??? Where is the money coming from if all of it is just going to share buyback and burn??????
I really dint see ADCs carrying matches anymore or making a big impact on the team winning. Its kike the rest of the team carries the ADC now. Junglers played right can carry, a good mid laner can carry or a nice toplaner thzt won their lane. What happened to the ADCs?? Most i play with dont even stand out in any way compared to the old days when they used to carry the whole team and we would NOT dare steal farm from them. That ADC was our ticket to victory.
As if it was not already difficult enough for for solo players. We cant gather and farm during peak hours due to all kinds of hazards and gankers. We had to resort to playing when its not as busy, but, now you nurfed drop quality, drop rates, everything is less. Once more people notice what just happened they will stop playing.
Hyper Liquid has been dropping. Please forgive me for not researching this, but, why we dropping all of a sudden? I am not talking about just today, but, for like a month now we been dropping. What changed, did more coins get unlocked, did Robinhood steal customers? Is there a pending regulatory change that might be bad for hyper Liquid?
So backwards and counterintuitive. The point of these games is to get better gear and and actually use it. Look forward to using better gear, instead of seeing everyone stuck on 4.1 gear. The current game design made it this way.
I am sure this will deter more people from ganking with it..... wtf do you think??? And what a nice buff to war bows, no more penalty for bejng up close and also now the damage went up by almost 40%.
Hey I noticed guilds, even newb ones insist that you can't melee in dungeons unless you the tank. They say its better and easier if all DPS are ranged. Because BOSS AOEs and having to keep healing melee dps and tank at same time. Plus each time melee dps has to move to avoid hitboxes, they cant do any damage at this time. in theory this all makes sense, but, Albion need to do something about this. I have never played a MMO that melee is not allowed to come and DPS. What do you think?
I have an awakened 8.4 2h Sword. Its worth atleast 60 mil silver, but, dont have ennough incentive to use it. In arenas, the awakened buffs are DISABLED. I would be a dumbazz to try and use it in the bkack zones, also the only place you can level it up is in the BZ or full loot danger zones. Its too much risk and CONs but nit enough PROs. What is the point of them, is it just for big guilds to do hard dungeons? If i could pay 1 mil silver for a feature that allows me just once to keep my attuned item after dying in Black zone. I would pay it over and over. Atleast i would have a bit of fun with my weapon. Right now its just collecting dust in my Bank. Need a game update that boosts usecase of attuned weapons especially the more expensive ones.
I am just curious if any players out there ever wondered if SBI staff is using their position to somehow accumulate silver and sell on the side? Maybe this could explain some obvious bots being reported for months, even with clear video evidence, and nothing happens... or those player who go lethal zone only to die with billions worth of loot just to commit RMT. Is it possible or the thought never once crossed your mind?
Do we really just get a end of season chest reward for 5v5 ranked? Howabout something weekly based on how high your current rank is and also of you play a minimum of 20 matches fkr that week to qualify??? The tomes and silver we receive after winning a match is already bad, plus it takes forever to wait in que to start a new match.
Hey I must say, I have more fun playing albion that most games out there. There are some very unique experiences here. Also the Full Loot "risk" of dying just adds a whole lot more thrill and meaning for deaths. Just today for example, I usually go out and just gather in black zones but with T-8 Gear, so its very risky and I am a big target. I do pretty well earning Silver, but, today I saw a Medium Chest about to spawn and I sad what the heck, I want to try for it. So i went to base and banked my mining gear then went out with tier 5 weapons and armor with a cheap t3 horse. I went out with the expectation of just having fun and dying. I usually dont fight much out there. when i showed up it was a big fight, two people were knocked out and two still fighting. I joined the fight and killed the remaining 2 and then executed the other two that was begging to be spared. after which, I looted the chest they were all fighting for. I ended up leaving with like 5 mil worth of stuff and a full bag. I was not expecting that outcome. Also today, I decided to transport some of my raw material from Authur's rest to Martlock Realm Gate. It was the scariest journey and they almost got me. I did my best to seem poor/low value target but they knew i was carrying valuables. A freaking scout saw me as I entered the last zone before entering Martlock Realm Gate.... he called like 15-20 people and they all chased me, blocking my entrances and exits. was so scared but they finally backed off, I faked like I exit the zone and came back, they were still there and already dismounted, I barely made it in. my heart was beating so fast the whole time... thats that thrill I was talking about earlier that you just dont get in other games. I spent weeks gathering all those materials and one death and I would have lost it all, like 10 million worth of stuff. its a lot for a new solo player.
I hate to say "Told You So", but as you can all see by the constant Nurfs/tweaks that's has been happening to healers, should prove my point that they healed for way too damn much in ALBION ONLINE. I hope they not only Nurf it in 1v1, but also in 5v5 and large group situations. I have been playing MMOs for decades and have a very reputable take on what is considered too much. A healer should supplement their team, not define the whole team/matchup of 10 or more people fighting. this is just insane. 5 people can be attacking 1 of their teammate, and that healer can OUTHEAL!!! all their damage. GTFO of here, that's now how it works.
