How do I switch out a crafting thrall?

I had a scoutwright that was automatically assigned to all relevant benches, but now I have a shieldwright I want in my armorer's bench. How do I make it so that the latter takes precedence? I want her bonuses instead of the shieldwright.

I feel like neither of the hero talent trees fit survival hunters at all

First of all, I always wished that survival would be more like quietly stalking prey alongside your pet, and not the walking exploding noise factories they are now. They're more like goblin engineers than anything close to a classic hunter fantasy, at least in my opinion.

But anyway! I figured I would try to make one work, and I'm actually liking it so far! I got a female gnome who got manipulated into joining the Irontide Raiders, but now she's reformed and trying to atone and help make Kul Tiras safe.

I built her like a clever engineer who makes her own companions and additional explosives, but then I got to level 70. My choices are to summon a bunch of random animals, or to delve into a very night elf-specific Elune type of build.

What do I do?! They insist on making the survival hunter have barely any sort of connection to animals or nature, and then give you hero talents that would have fit perfectly with an actual survival hunter, but ruins the whole crazy goblin bomber theme that they set them up to be.

I just can't settle on one. I've made hundreds of characters, and it's not necessarily that I grow tired of them, I just come up with a new concept that's more enticing at the moment, and then it continues like that forever.

Sometimes I want to go back to an older concept, but I just have this weird "I don't know that character anymore" way of thinking, and feel like I have to start from scratch to properly get into it again. Like I need it to be an uninterrupted journey, if that makes sense?

Are there any other altoholics that have found a way to settle on a few of their characters?
