How to distinguish fibromialgia from menopause
Hi, I watched podcast on menopause and one of the statements is that low estrogen could cause body pain even during perimenopause due to all organs in female body having estrogen receptors and estrogen levels drop after 35ish year old. So my question is if some if my symptoms are caused by low estrogen instead of sluggish liver? I was dealing with fibro and lichen sclerosis that started together when I was 35 (now I am 40(. I had hot flashes and night sweating but those were gone after switching to mm, however lichen/fibro seem to be unchanged. I know i have low estrogen due to blood test I did when diagnosing lichen and doctor said the cause was low estrogen. So could we still face low estrogen symptoms? Or will low estrogen be fixed on mm? Or will our body stop reacting this way to low estrogen or is this science bullshit? Thank you
