Not even a hi lol. Sorry for my rant!

Don’t get me wrong, I love my job and think it is so special. However, my biggest peeve is when I greet a customer, I will literally say “Hey! how’s your day going?” Or “hey there! How are you?” Etc., and they will not acknowledge me and just put their phone in my face and say “I want this” or “do this one.” No acknowledgment or even just a “hi” back. Like?? Ok ☺️ makes me feel like a robot lol. I understand situations where there’s a language barrier or communication issue where this is absolutely necessary, and this is a different scenario that I fully understand. I’m talking about those customers who are regulars, or are fully capable of communicating, treat you like you are a machine who just follows commands. I understand that some people also suffer from anxiety, autism or other situations where communication is difficult, but what I don’t understand is why people are so rude? Like acknowledge us please, if you’re able!
Anyone else feel this way?
What inspired this post was from yesterday, when a customer did this to me, and I tried to ask her again how her day was going a minute later while making her drink, and she said “geez, fuck off. Just make my fucking drink. Also i want a sticker.” And literally rolled up her window. I wasn’t mean or anything, just made small talk. Idk man lol usually everyone who comes by is so cool. Just seen an increase in this lately :/

3 free therapy sessions

My (new) manager recently told me that we as employees are eligible for three free therapy sessions. I tried to pursue it, (lord knows I need it lol) but she was kinda weird about it, not giving me much information. May is mental health awareness month. I’d love to know if you reached out and took the therapy sessions, or if you just let it go. I clearly can’t afford therapy, or else I wouldn’t be working here, but I’m wondering if anyone else had similar experiences.
I don’t want to talk badly about my job, I love it but I just want to know if anyone has any similar experiences.

Lost insurance.. next steps?

I stopped my meds after I lost my insurance. It’s been only a couple days and I’m feeling okay, but I just know this is going to end badly if I don’t get help, and I want to avoid being inpatient again. I used to be on Medicaid but don’t qualify anymore. For those who have lost insurance, how did you stay med compliant when meds can be so expensive?
