Stopped by 2 Targets since I saw all the posts from others looking for Starscream but he was nowhere in sight.

Instead I saw Sideswipe on sale for 50% off so I picked him up. Interestingly he was on sale at the next Target but was still more expensive. Really like the details on his wheels.

Found Sideways locally and I just think he looks cool in Robot mode as well as being a modern version vehicle bot so why not.

Added Skywarp a couple days ago and currently waiting for 4 more purchases to arrive and have Vector Prime on pre-order.

I am 41 days in since I started buying and now I have 14 on hand with 4 more otw -_-

Hello everybody. Middle aged newbie here who just recently bought my 1st Transformers in the beginning of June and wanted to share the start of my humble collection and a little bit of how I grew up with, or without, Transformers.

I don't recall if I ever owned my own Transformers before but I vaguely remember playing with a metal version when I was 3-4 years old in my family's tiny apartment. It may had belonged to my older brother and handed down but I'll have to ask if he remembers. I also remember my cousin having Starscream (or maybe it was a Macross jet) but I was still 3-4 years old and too young for him to let me play with it so I don't blame him lol. Then around 10 years old (maybe ~1995) I remember being in a Target store with my mom and I asked her to buy me a medium to large sized starship style Transformers (can't recall too clearly) that was around $40. I didn't get it and I probably teared up a bit but I understood then that it was pricey. Other than that I really only watched Beast Wars (and Robotech/Macross) and the live action Transformers movies.

Present day (30ish years later) I work with children/teens and one of the younger kids, a 4 year old, started bringing in his Transformers and the first few he brought was a small Megatron and Bumblebee. He has a smaller sized Cog that is pretty neat and other less complex Transformers for young kids his age like the Playskool version. He also brought in a pretty neat Cardbot Blue Cop S toy.

Well that first Megatron got me hooked and got me back into toys as an adult. Yes I have The Rock as Black Adam back there but other than that toy model I have no "childrens" toys.

This morning I had planned on picking up a Kingdom Ultra Magnus but I didn't hear back from the seller. Then I saw a new listing that was up for just 2-3 hours for a Nova Prime and it looked so cool, and priced right, so I just messaged the seller and snapped it up!

Order of purchase:

1. Megatron
2. AOE Optimus Prime (had a $50 cashback on $50 deal I couldn't pass up)
3. 3-Pack The Fallen, Megatron, and Soundwave (deal on Amazon)
4. KO Lockdown
5. WFC Megatron
6. Nova Prime

Hope yall enjoyed my story and progress. I am currently considering the new big ass Grimlock and the Optimus x Evangelion crossover although I never watched nor am a fan of Evangelion.
