For any violinist who uses earplugs, which would you recommend and how do they feel/sound?

Just wanted to drop my opinion to see what others think. Just listened to it recently.

First of all, I don’t think any of their songs sound the same once you know them well, and I don’t think them changing the “usual“ sound brings any of their music down. All of their songs have a unique vibe and they all usually hit hard.

I usually pay more attention to the song structure. What they’ve done well in the past was set up a vibe in the verse, and when they arrive at the chorus it feels like the song has reached its climax/main idea and now has some forward momentum for the next chorus.

I like how Twizzler starts and I like the vibe but I feel like the chorus sounds like it should be a pre-chorus. I think it’s a bit repetitive and it doesn’t really have an arrival point. And I usually listen for the tambourine because that’s one of my favorite things about the band. I don’t think anyone has mentioned there is no tambourine in this one?

But my experience with their some of their songs has went like this: I listen to it after some time and then suddenly understand the song and begin to like it a lot more.
