Few rides in with riverside 120, and not happy with it.

I recently bought a Riverside 120 for around 15k (including accessories). I do not have much idea about cycles, so I researched quite a bit before buying it. I relied mostly on Reddit reviews since they usually come from people with actual experience, and almost everyone was recommending the RS120, so I decided to go for it.

I did have some doubts about the thin tires and whether they would hold up well on rough roads with potholes. I even saw a post where the roads were much worse than mine, and everyone in the comments was saying the cycle would handle them fine.

But after actually riding it, I realized how bad it feels on rough roads. Today, I had a pretty nasty fall because the tire slipped on some small pebbles, which left me with bruises on my hands and knees. I was riding normally at around 20 km/h.

On top of that, many “minor” issues have started showing up:

  • The brakes make loud noises.
  • There are continuous clicking sounds.
  • Sometimes the pedal suddenly jerks, similar to what happens during a gear shift, even while riding normally. It almost caused me to lose balance once.
  • On slightly uneven roads, the cycle feels extremely bumpy and uncomfortable.

Am I doing something wrong? This is my first geared cycle, though I do know the basics.

I am wondering whether upgrading to thicker tires would help. My previous cycle, which was much cheaper, had wider tires and honestly felt much better on these types of roads.

Also, does anyone know if I can exchange the cycle at Decathlon? It has only been around a week. I am worried because my parents spent 15k on it, and I had assured them it would be a better long-term purchase compared to my old cycle, which used to have frequent problems.

I bought this laptop in 2022, and for the past year or two it has felt very slow.

My specs:

  • Model: Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ALC6
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5500U with Radeon Graphics (2.10 GHz)
  • RAM: 8.00 GB (5.86 GB usable)
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon Graphics (integrated, 2 GB)
  • Storage: 477 GB SSD (about 160 GB used)
  • System type: 64-bit OS, x64-based processor
  • OS: Windows 11

I’m not expecting heavy performance, but I thought it should handle:

  • Light video editing
  • Light gaming (Minecraft, Roblox)
  • Smooth everyday use (opening apps, browsing, etc.)

Right now even basic tasks feel laggy. If I open a few chrome tabs, along with some applications (not heavy) in the background, it starts to lag and heats up really quickly .It wasn’t this slow when I first bought it, it got worse over time.

Am I expecting too much from these specs, or is something wrong with my laptop?

Windows 11 btw, if that matters.

Also the second picture is my current state of task manager. I don't know much about what those numbers mean, but I am pretty sure the Memory going over 90% is not a good sign. This is when I have about 6 tabs open in chrome.

I do realize that it is cheap compared to most of the laptops nowadays, so I don't know if I am expecting too much.

All my shorts used to get atleast 60% stayed to watch at the time of upload, which increased later on.

However in my past few videos, the stats I get are horrible. 30%-40% Stayed to watch at the time to upload, which only gets up to around 50-60% after a few days.

This is happening even though the hook of the videos are the same.

Even the AVD is lower than usual (Not in the example image, but in some other videos it is), while my previous ones used to have 110-120% AVD.

I sometimes (almost always) reupload my videos because the stats I get are sometimes really terrible (Like 20% stayed to watch). I have been doing this in my recent videos.

Does anyone know why this is happening? I doubt that it is because of weak hook. I think that it might be because youtube can't find the right audience, but still it shouldn't happen THIS late into my youtube journey (I have around 1,300 subs).

Thank you in advance!
