Need advice from both male/female
So this isn’t a complaint - It’s more collecting information. My wife and I have been together for 6 years. She says she’s attracted to me and seems very faithful. I am lucky if we have sex once every 2 weeks. She will instigate once every 3 months if I’m lucky. She literally will have sex and make sure she says “it’s to get your urges out of your system” 🙄 and that makes me feel really shitty kind of. It’s not the connection I’d like from my wife.
I always buy her flowers and help her with chores ( above my half to surprise her to take the load off of her ) and try to plan dates. I keep myself in shape and I help as much as I can with our child ( bedtime/ bath excerera ) I am one that over analysis things constantly ( I’m an engineer for mechanical vehicle systems so analytical thinking is my comfort zone ) . I try to talk about her day and ask how she’s doing and call her beautiful and compliment what she chooses to wear daily ( and I mean it sincerely ). Even if this is a roast , just word vomit anything you think can be wrong ( we’ve tried couples counseling and she’s more vocal in that than with me ). Is she secretly unattracted to me or maybe she doesn’t realize it? Am I annoying the hell out of her with my overthinking ? What could I do to make her desire as much as I desire her. lol please advise
