I've started to use Proton Pass to have one place for passwords, replacing MacOS and my browsers password managers. Love it so far but!

In Vivaldi, I disabled saving passwords, deleted all saved passwords. I like to use auto-fill for forms though, and if I have an email address saved in my auto-fill entries, it is suggested when I want to login to a website and overlaps with Proton Pass extension entries. And, each email address I type in a field then gets in a list of suggested emails for the next email field...

So I have to turn OFF 'save and fill addresses', but I love the feature to fill forms automatically.

Is there a way to keep the auto-fill feature without being suggested anything when selecting an email/user name input field?

This page https://rcloneview.com/support/blog/hard-drive-to-proton-drive-with-rcloneview makes me understand that even without using Crypt, my data would be encrypted by Proton's encryption feature. Is that so?

I understand Proton encrypts data on the source, before uploading, when using their own desktop software. I don't want to use it on Mac because it's a OneDrive-like thing that forces to move data to a cloud location on the computer.

So, I want to use Rclone, but don't understand how it would use Proton's encryption at that source.

I have two Mac computers, I synced my Desktop and Documents folders and it worked very well.

Now, the Documents folder is 'out of sync' on both sides. I tried to stop sharing on one computer, and re-established the sharing. To no avail.

The sharing is with default settings, both directions etc...

Is there a way to re-establish syncing?

I just subscribed to Tuta, added a custom domain with 3 custom email addresses. I'm trying to use one of these for my apple account and I'm told 'not a valid email address'.

Is there a way to fix that?

My use case is as following: I have about 1 TB of data that I’d like to use on two computers.
my idea is to upload it to Drime and have it locally synced on both computers. That way the data is synced, and I have a backup.

foe the initial upload, what’s the best way? I just found out about Rclone, which seems appropriate. I’m not versed in command line. Is there an easy GUI solution for it, and is it the way to go? thats for uploading the initial data to Drime.
then, to download it to the other computer?

once the data is on Drime and locally synced on both computers, I assume using Drim sync is enough?

I used to do that with OneDrive, the initial sync took forever and was brittle, and here I tried and it failed a few times…

I think I misunderstood 'free up space', I thought it was to free up space on my phone (iOS) but understood later files would be deleted from my Drime storage.

So, I deleted big videos but didn't want to! And in Trash, in Drime, I don't see them. Any way to recover them?

I’m a new Drime customer on MacOS 27 and bought a 2TB plan. I dragged a big folder (100 GB) to my Drime folder in Finder, and don’t see any activity of syncing in the flyover of the Drime App, not in the more detailed Transfer Manager app. Am I doing something wrong?
