With so many devices filling seemingly every niche available, is there still a niche you're waiting to be filled?

I've bought a bunch of handhelds, and given away plenty too. I know a lot of people on this sub are the same way. Generally I only buy handhelds I have a specific purpose for, as I try keep my handhelds dedicated to one console as much as possible. Otherwise I will usually not have any FOMO for new releases as they don't do anything I'm after.

Lately one of my longtime dream devices (DSi XL but with modern screens and fast forward) was realized with the RG DS+. But even with all we have now, are there still any device niches you've been patiently waiting for that have yet to be made?

I have a few myself:

- 1:1 clamshell, ideally with no sticks

- small/thin dual screen clamshell with 2x TrimUI Brick screens, again ideally with no sticks

- dedicated 4:3 N64 handheld with proper N64 controls

- dedicated 4:3 GameCube handheld with proper GameCube controls

What about you?

Do you pronounce things the same way the characters do?

I've found that the way I naturally thought a lot of names in the game were pronounced is not the same that the characters say them. Some examples:

- Palia - I thought it was PAH-lia (short A), but they say PAY-lia (long A)

- Kilima - I thought it was ki-LEE-mah, but they say KI-li-mah

- Eshe - I thought it was EE-shuh or EH-shuh, but they say EH-shay

And of course, I've deliberately pronounced Caleri as "celery" since day one 😂

Anybody else have this experience?
