Im currently level 12 cooking and want to boost it into lvl 20 so I can cook muujin bahari.

What is the best dish (relatively low cost/rarity ingredients, high exp compared with the amount of task needed) for this? So I can collect all of the ingredients and do the nonstop cooking party using that dish.

I'm having a bit of a hard time with ranching rn and I feel like I'm doing sth wrong or sth. I started with just keeping some animals for the products, not really for the money but mainly to keep for crafting and cooking. But now I've been wanting to do more actual breeding and get some pretty traits and stuff. So I'm having trouble with it bc of the animal limits. I feel like I'm just waiting for my animals to be venerated so I can get more pretty ones. I've been breeding them as much as I can and donating any that don't have new pretty traits. But still I'm at the limit. Maybe I'm supposed to focus on less species bc there's just so many but also I want all the different ones for the produce and also if I let any of the pretty ones get venerated without passing down those traits then I essentially lose them. I just don't know how I'm supposed to balance it. I don't even have every single animal type, though I do have most. How do you have it set up?

There are three tasks which I am finding impossible.

1. getting a gold star ogapuu scale - I know, shoot at the turquoise ones.

2. getting a gold stsr blushing butterfly. I have a regular batterfly - just wish I could recall where I got it.

3. a black pearl - apparently found in the elder clams . Well I've opened stacks of them and niente, zip, niksy please anyone achieved this?

What's everyone's least favorite skill, that you keep forgetting about, and is lower than all your other skills?? Crafting is my lowest skill, and fishing is next lowest. I'm still pretty new to the game though. Gardening is my highest skill, and foraging is second lol.

Every time I buy something from the new Aristocrat furniture line at Tish’s shop, it makes me buy two of it, and charges me for it too. It’s happened a few times, and it’s not any other kind of furniture.
Additionally, it won’t let me buy them if I don’t have enough for two, I get the “not enough gold” error message.
Ex. I had 7k gold and tried to buy an Aristocrat smth for 4k and said I didn’t have enough.
It’s eating all my gold, and what am I gonna do with two of everything? Anyone else having this issue?

i started playing about two years ago and was quickly obsessed. i started to find myself in a gameplay loop pre elderwood update and put the game down for a bit. i was super excited for the elderwood update to come out, but ironically all of the new content with making runes and whatnot never really made sense to me, and i haven’t progressed through the main elderwood story quests. I’ve seen this new update come out as well and have similar concerns. i don’t have much interest in breeding/or the new animal mechanics but want to get back into it. i just fear that it’s going to be so much at once again. not sure if anyone else feels this way- silly because i yearned for new content but then could never grasp the elderwood gameplay loop. if anyone has any tips for navigating it all let me know!

is anyone else a little disappointed that there were absolutely no romantic dialogue options for hassian through the whole questline??? Like I didn’t even get to talk to him about it after the fact and like???? SEEMS LIKE A PRETTY SIGNIFICANT LIFE EVENT MY GUY
