The first image shows a picture taken today, and the second last monday. The patch of alopecia is still growing, to a point that it is unfortunately not very coverable. I currently really dislike leaving the house as I am self conscious of this. In addition I think I have developed the other kind of alopecia as every time I lie down or run my fingers through my hair, hair falls from my crown. Over this past week I have been using a steroid prescribed to me called betnovate cream and taking a heavy iron supplement for my deficiency. Through reaching out to family I have found that my aunt and grandmother both have this and they have recommended some things that helped them. So far the only thing that has improved is the rate at which the hair is falling out. I could not imagine a worse time for this to happen, I am about to enter university have my senior prom coming up and a holiday with my friends. Highly considering going bald which is a shame as I had always liked and found confidence in my hair. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

17 and have alopecia. Got a blood test done as the doctor thought it may have been to do with my anaemia but it came back false. I was told it would take about 2 weeks for the dermatologist to get back to me. The first two pictures show what I would describe as a 2x growth in the patch over a period of a week. Is there anything I can do to slow or improve this? Stressing over this constantly at the moment, have been trying to cover it up but I think that wouldn’t be possible after another week of growth.
