I haven’t rewatched season 8 a whole lot but I recently rewatched my full moon and I thought the storyline with Elliot contemplating being a doctor was very interesting. I wonder if it’s something they’ll explore more in the reboot, I’m a little disappointed it seemed to be abandoned after the episode but I also think it was good character development and a full episode exploring her burnout as a doctor felt very earned. To me it kinda mirrored Robby’s burnout in the Pitt towards the end of season 2, more devastating for him since he expresses how his job is his whole life but it’s also what’s killing him. Idk. I’m sure healthcare professionals have something way more insightful to say on this topic. What do you think?
